I was worried if you were getting bored helping me so much.. ^^; Didn't seem challenging at all for ya. Hopefully we can fight on equal grounds soon.

Oh no it's not boring, it provides an interesting challenge to help a friend .Feathers wrote:I was worried if you were getting bored helping me so much.. ^^; Didn't seem challenging at all for ya. Hopefully we can fight on equal grounds soon.
Equal grounds? May take a while, but we'll see.

That could be a problem then, I was hoping we could enjoy the game on the same level. Otherwise I'm just baggage.

Oh come on, you're not baggage. You just need Rock Balboa style training!Feathers wrote:That could be a problem then, I was hoping we could enjoy the game on the same level. Otherwise I'm just baggage.
I'm going to be logging on in like ten minutes or less, so we can continue

Re: Funcom's The Secret World
Haven't played in a few days I keep forgetting to log on since I'm on TMM most of my free time. I did jump on about a day ago but for some reason I was teleported all the way back to London. The game feels so lonely solo and I keep falling asleep because there is nothing to fight but zombies zombies zombies and the occasional sea monster. >_<

Re: Funcom's The Secret World
It's a good game but it suffers from the same problems as all MMORPGs- if your friend is higher level or has more exp, it's boring because you can't contribute to the team. This is what makes FPS/MOBA superior for online players..

Re: Funcom's The Secret World
Okay, so if anyone has been playing TSW longer than I have (kinda doubt it by this point), what's the fastest way to get purple gear? It's a noob question, I know, but I can't be wandering around in QL10 Green gear all the time

Re: Funcom's The Secret World
Has anyone but me been playing TSW recently or at all?
I guess I'll find out eventually.
Either way, I've recently been focusing on trying to make my dream build. Trying to pick the right abilities, talismans and weapons to be a self-healing DPS/tank. It may take a while to sort it all out, but I'm guessing that I'll get there at some point.

Re: Funcom's The Secret World
Criticism on the game:
I uninstalled it last month. I tend to get bored with MMOs quickly, but this one honestly bored more a lot faster than the others (Flyff is still the #1 worst MMO I have played though). It's a well made game, but isn't for me. I could just enjoy the story cutscenes (which are actually really good) on youtube though, it would save me some time. I'd like more fantasy inspired races myself, because playing as a human just isn't any fun for me. No offense to people that love the game, I'm just a very hard person to please when it comes to MMORPGs because I've played A LOT of them over the course of 13 years (and wasted a load of cash on them in the process because of monthly fees).
