Nope. Here's something from one of my sources.

Following yesterdays reveal of the new Pokémon, and the Mega Evolutions, some clear images have surfaced which showcase some of these Pokémon in battle. It also provides a few further bits of information. First, Pokémon can only Mega Evolve when they are holding a Mega Stone. It's not yet known whether the Mega Stone is one specific item, or a separate one such as the Blazikenite that the event Torchic holds. The Blazikenite is not found within normal gameplay. It also confirms that Mega Evolutions are temporary in battle.
It confirms that not all Pokémon will have Mega Evolutions. The Master Tower has a connection to Mega Evolutions
It also confirms stat increases, stating that MegaLucario's Attack is higher. MegaAbsol has increased Attack & Speed. Finally, it also confirms that Super Training will increase Pokémon's "Kiso" Points. The translation of it indicates that this may be what we call EVs

Next month's CoroCoro will have the type chart featuring Fairy-type, eh? Well, THAT'S certainly something to look out for! Eagerly awaiting the reveal via that of just how much of a dragonslayer Gardevoir's been turned into.

I will say though, even if I'm a bit late to, that I'm a big fan of that Honedge fella -- rather cute-looking and I love how they designed the scabbard so that it has holes that line up with the blade inside so that it looks like there's a face on it. That it has No Guard makes me hope it gets some good low-accuracy moves to its name and some decent stats to back them up. That said, now I mosey on away to see if someone's gone and made a moe version of it yet . . . *sidles off whistling innocently*

New info came out about the Mega formes. They need a certain type of Mega Stone and the form activates at the when the Pokémon enters battles and stops when the Pokémon leaves.

Pokémon X & Y - Mega Evolution Clarification

With the official Japanese site update, a small note came out regarding further clarification on the Mega Evolutions. Within this site, it details that with Mega Evolutions, you can only have one Mega Evolution Pokémon in battle. It's not known whether it's talking about all of the battle, or just within your team. This is presumably to allow for a specific balance in the Pokémon. It also clarifies that the Pokémon will revert after the battle has ended, not within it itself when the battle finishes. We're still not 100% on the specifics of this new process, but we'll keep you updated as more information comes
Edit @ 17:14: During the VGC Opening Ceremony, Junichi Masuda revealed a new Mega Pokémon, Mega Kangaskhan which has the baby Kangaskhan grow and come out of battle. It has the ability Parental Bond that allows its attacks to hit twice in one turn. We'll have pictures and details as soon as possible. Picture thanks to @pklug on Twitter

I'm pleased that they are "evolving" the franchise. It needed some big changes in my opinion. I just want the 3D mostly though.

I've been hearing a lot of hate for the Mega's however. Thing is it was the same hate that the Fairy type got. Also some new info fro Serebii:

Following their reveal over the last few days, The Pokémon Company has sent out a press release giving even more Mega Evolutions their details. This specifically focuses upon Mega Ampharos, Mega Absol &Mega Mawile. It also reveals that Mega Mawile's Defense and Special Defense stats are increase. All details have been added to our Mega Evolutions page. Many new screenshots were also released and have been added to our pre-release screenshot page. Click the image to go to the page.
They have also revealed that the 2014 World Championships will be held in Washington D.C. Finally, it confirms that the Torchic distribution will run until the same day as in Japan, January 15th 2014

Following on from the game demo at Pokémon Game Show this coming weekend in Japan, and the demo in Gamescom in Germany next week, The Pokémon Company has announced even more experience events, and also confirmed that the demo will focus upon Mega Evolution. On August 20th and 21st, the games will be playable in Aeon Malls in Ishinomaki, South Niigata, Kasukabe, Dainichi and Lake Town Mori. On August 24th and 25th, it'll be playable in the Aeon Malls in Hassamu Sapporo, Fujinomiya, Takanohara, Kurashiki and Haebary. Finally, on August 31st and September 1st, it'll be playable at the Aeon Mall Musashi Murayama in Tokyo, and the Aeon Mall in Fukuoka. We'll provide details on this demo this weekend

Okay I' thinking Mega Blaziken will get Special Attack and Attack boosts, Mega Mewtwo will get Special Attack, Mega Ampharos will get Special Attack and Speed and Mega Kangaskhan will get Attack.

I hope next they do something big with Pokemon on the Wii U, that console needs some love. The 3DS is doing darn good lately with SMT and FE, although I hear Dream Team didn't do all that great. I'm still dreaming for a 3D Pokemon full world on Wii U though (I'll probably be dreaming forever). Even a Stadium type game could be interesting, or a game that allows you to connect your 3DS game to it and interact with your Pokemon.
