Has anyone ever played Thief: The Dark Project and its later games? Been a fan of the series myself when I was a kid and they are releasing a new game of it.

It happens to be one of my favourite stealth games.

I did enjoy the first one, but my modern PC no longer will run it. I'd like to try the new one for SURE though. I loved stealth games after playing Thief.

I remember one scary character back then, the hammerhaunts. That not only they sound scary, but they are the fastest enemies in terms of running and sword swings.

I was so terribly awful at that game when I first started. It definitely taught me the "Art of Stealth". Now in MMOs, I'm a master of assassination in PvP. I was feared and hated by so many on my Rogue. Heheh..thank you Thief!
Re: Thief (series)
The design of the main character does remind me of my character so much lol.

Re: Thief (series)
I recently bought the first three games of the series on steam. It was a bit of a chore, but I finally got Thief Gold to run on my brand new laptop thanks to some easy modding. It sure is as hard as I heard it was.....so many ways to get to your objective. I've only finished the tutorial, and went through a bit of the first mansion.
