I draw and look at the card, and have a slight chuckle "Oh well, looks like I lost. There's nothing I can play and your Zaborg's next attack will send me to zero life points, but since I'd rather not get shocked again I think I'll just admit defeat right now." I then put the card I drew back on the deck "Congrats Chris, you're the first one to beat me since I got here." I say before going to sit with the other losers.

*Chris is shocked by this but nods* It was good Duel.

Damien stands up clapping "Well done guys, THAT was very entertaining! though it fell flat on it's face with such a lack luster finish. I expected more from a Galaxy-eyes...but what can you do...everyone give the Red-eyes a round of applause for defeating a Galaxy-eyes and finishing up the first round of this so far PATHETIC tournament...hopefully round 2 will give better results. For this round seeing as we have an uneven number of participanes one of you will have to sit out...unless Gary would like to join in on the fun?" he looks to Gary with a patronizing look.
Gary returns it with a look of contempt, "I have no interest in playing around with fools." he says scathingly.
Damien eyes spark with anger then returns to address the audiance, Well lets get this show started with Connor Vs. Alastair!"

Meanwhile after Gary made it clear he did not want to participate gets up and leaves discreetly thinking to himself,Hmmm Damien has been acting weird lately...and seems to be visiting the infirmary quite frequently..And i know he isn't visiting any sick students...or that girl who nearly died on the first day..no he's up to something and i'm going to find out...he'll learn he can't keep secrets from his protege. "So he likes to call me..." he says quietly to himself.

Alastair gets up and walks over to the deck machine, "(sigh) Really? Another freakin Red-Eyes student? Fine i'll tear him up just like the last one."

I just shake my head at Damien's comment's on the duel as there was no reason to ruin the moment, but I smile a little as Damien draws attention to the duelist who came after me the other day when I was weakened as I finally get his name. Then I silently get up as my name is called giving a nod to both Chris and Kiel as I pass by them to grab a deck from the machine and ready myself as I take my place on stage "I would watch yourself talking trash about me and my fellow Red-eyes you might just get surprised on what we are capable of, and I think I let you decide who get's to start this one." I say with a smile

A cocky grin appears on Alastair's face, "Well if you think you have a chance at beating the likes of me then go ahead and go first." he says bowing a bit mockingly.

I just shrug "Alright if you insist...I'll just keep things simple and set one monster then I'll set two face downs and call it a turn."

@Connor:
Alastair draws, "Hmpt i'l set 2 cards down and set a monster face down also...You move Red-Eyes scum."

I roll my eyes as I draw "Well I think first I will activate my first face down Tower of Babel, and then I'll summon Anarchist Monk Ranshin in attack mode and have him attack your face down monster!"

Alastair grins, "Not so fast i activate my trap Solemn Warning! I pay 2000 lifepoints to negate the summon of your monster." he clenches his fists against the shock.

I watch as my monster is destroyed "Alright, I guess I end my turn then."

@Connor:
Alastair draws then smiles. "i'll Flip summon D.D. Warrior in attack mode then summon Marauding Captain! And with his effect i can special summon a lvl 4 warrior-type monster from my hand and i'll choose Command Knight!"



"All Warrior type monsters gain 400 atk from Command Knight which gives them all 1600 atk and i'll have all of them attack you Directly! go my warriors cut him to ribbons!"

[Drack]

"I activate my second face down Book of Moon and use it on your D.D Warrior so it can't attack this turn also my Tower gains one counter, and as for me being wide open your mistaken I still have my face down monster so your monsters have to attack it first and my face down monster is Royal Magical Library!"

@Connor:
Alastair growls in frustration, "Damn you...i end."

I draw "Now I'll summon Copycat it attack mode and use its effect to copy Command Knight attack and defense then I will equip it with One-Shot Wand bringing its attack to 2000 and giving my Tower a second counter then I will have it attack your Marauding Captain!"
