Alastair frowns concentrating, "I will set a monster and end my turn."

[Drack]

"Alright, well activate my face down the trap Pitch-Black Power Stone, and now I activate the field spell Magical Citadel of Endymion so now my Tower has two spell counters, using the effect of my Power Stone I transfer one counter from it to my Citadel then use the two counters from my Tower so my Magician can destroy your Hero Ring...now lets try this again and have him attack your Amazon!"

[Heero]

@Connor:
"Fine take the damage then." Alastair says watching his monster be destroyed.

[Drack]

I cringe as I take damage "... Fine, I end my turn."

[Heero]

@Connor:
Alastair looks at his meager hand or a long moment, "Well damn...I concede." he says putting his hand over his deck in defeat, "I can't overcome your field...Well played..I guess Red-Eyes students arn't weaklings after all." He smirks and he steps off the field.

Damien Stands up clapping, "Well that was most definitely a good duel...this round is a step up from the first i tell you that. but alas...we arrive at the finals of round 2...Nathan ans Alex if you would..." he gestures at the field as he sits.

[Drack]

I'm a little suprised by Alastair conceding the duel and nod "Thanks you played well too." And I then quietly put the rental deck back and take my seat.

[Taintedone]

Thankfully, this time Alex was still awake, as these recent duels were of better action and caliber. He was somewhat satisfied with the current participants. When his name was called, he looked up and then rose from his seat slowly and walked over to the random decks. He reached in and grabbed one and made his way to the arena. He waited for his opponent to do the same.
"I pray you won't be as much of a disappointment as my last opponent.... who should go first?"

[Nexous]

I walk up, and grab my deck. I put them in my duel disk, and draw my first 5 cards. "You go first I should at leas read the cards I just drew. Other than that I'll duel you blind."

[Taintedone]

Alex raised one eyebrow in slight intrigue.
"Confident, are we?... As you wish."
He drew his six cards and scanned his hand.
"Hmph..... I'll set one monster face down, and that's all for now."
He placed his monster and crossed his arms waiting stoically.

[Nexous]

I draw m next card. I set one spell card, and summon Garoth, Lightsworn Warrior in attack mode.

He will then attack your face down!

[Taintedone]

Alex smirked slightly. "Good effort, but you underestimated me. You just attacked my penguin soldier."

"Thanks to his effect, I can return two monsters on the field to their owner's hands, and I'll pick your Garoth, unfortunately penguin is still destroyed."

[Nexous]

"I set a second card, and end"

[Taintedone]

"Alright, My turn!"
He draws his next card.
"Let's see.... First I'll summon Elemental HERO Woodsman in attack mode."


"Then I'll activate the spell Miracle Fusion and remove my Woodsman and penguin soldier from play to fusion summon Elemental HERO Absolute Zero!"


"Now, Absolute Zero, Attack him directly!"
The arctic HERO charged a large ball of condensed cold air into a light blue energy wave and fired a beam of 0 degree energy right at his opponent.

[Nexous]

I get hit by the attack, and begin to shiver. "G-geeze, t-t-t-that was almost as cold as my ex-girlfriends heart. D-do you end?"

[Taintedone]

Alex paused for a moment before smirking in slight amusement as Absolute Zero finished his attack.
"Heh... Looks like I've got a character on my hands... Yes, I'll end."

[Nexous]

I draw my card. "Son of a bitch... I set one monster, and end."

[Taintedone]

Alex shrugs slightly and draws his card.
"I expected more from a higher class of student... I'll activate Polymerization to fuse together the Elemental HERO Heat and the second Elemental hero Woodsman in my hand to fusion summon Elemental HERO Nova Master!"


"Let's see if your monster can stand the heat.... Nova Master, Attack his face down!"
The super heated Hero held his hand out and generated a ball of intense flames and fired it at the face down.

[Nexous]

I watch my Jain, Lightsworn Paladin get destroyed. "Trash! If this were my real deck you would be fucked!"

[Taintedone]

Alex shook his head slightly with a small smirk.
"Heh... Like I said before when these finals started.... The weakest dogs bark the loudest... If you're so tough then prove it with your cards and not your mouth.... Thanks to Nova Master's effect, since he destroyed your monster, I can draw one card..... Now, Absolute Zero, Put him on ice."
Once again, Zero fired another concentrated beam of cold energy at him.

[Nexous]

I take another blow. "Hurry up, and end our damn turn so I CAN prove it!"
