I can understand the SNES version, but the Genesis version is miles better because of the extra characters that are fun to play, better controls(Well, I found it easier to do pull combos and specials on that version), and a better version of the soundtrack.

Wish i'd have owned a sega genesis back then.
My gaming life went from SNES (I never owned an ATARI so it jumped to it),Nintendo 64 ( ), Playstation 1 ( ) then Playstation 2 and 3 ( )

So I might have missed a few good games from those, but nothing will beat the nintendo 64 era for me ^_^

PS4 doesn't have enough JRPGs to be competing with Mario. Just imagine if FF15 was on there, Mario'd probably be in last place that time! But hey, Mario Kart 8 looks friggin' amazing and I'm definitely getting it when I get the Wii-U. I'd definitely prioritize it over a PS4 myself!

The big question- could Smash Bros. WIIU outsell FF15 PS4?

It was about time, I mean the original titles are about to hit the 10 years mark since their release (Gen 1 remakes were released 8 years after the original Gen 2 remakes were released ten years after their original releases), so it's not a surprise here.

I wonder if they'll be picking the Ruby/Sapphire barebones story (each having their respective evil team and plot forced legendary) or if they'll be taking elements from Emerald for the remakes.
And I just hope that Steven Stone acts as the champion... Please no more Wallace ¬¬
