Due to the amount of images pertaining to Flare's OC in my fanart thread, I'll be posting all future works directly or indirectly related to her in this thread so that my fanart thread isn't detracting from its original purpose: Generalized drawings of MGs and other random stuff.

Most of the things posted here will be:

Character Concepts of hers truly.
Smalltalk between us.
Characters, friends, associates.
Hobbies, interests, etc.

1= The spear which Flare (character) is sometimes depicted carrying as her main weapon. Probably making a reference to a real melee weapon Flare (person) made by herself.

2=A red snake. Flare (person) likes snakes and anything snake related and her favourite colour is red.

3=That´s a rank insignia of the US Marine Corps telling us that she (Flare) achieved Corporal rank during her life in the military.

4=That symbol screams Warhammer. Whether she collects the figures and play the tabletop games or just is a fan of the franchise is up to debate. But better sure for Azrael and Pierce not to commit any act of heresy.

5= ??? At first sight those green objects look like being part of some sort of a board game...such as the Ouija. You got me clueless here.

6=Flare the Fire Lamia aka Flarecobra, internet persona of Flare the person. So far the character can change from Human to Lamia form and vice-versa, apart from being granted the ability to become a "phoenix-lamia" since rescuing and protecting a little phoenix.

7=The mandalorian insignia. Symbolises Flare (person) being a fan of the Star wars franchise.

8=This sport car´s bonnet evokes the image below:

This suggests that Flare (person) likes and plays the "sandbox" game series called Saints Row.

9=A picture of a moist tentacle...Analogy to a paraphilia involving tentacles or a reference to bonds of friendship developed with tentacle-themed forum members like Patchouli the Roper and Jack?

10=Talking about friendship...this depiction of a stuffed,dwarf and winged equine represents Flare´s liking of a certain TV series, which name I prefer not to utter, produced by a toy company which used to sell textile remnants and pencils in its early days.

That´s that. In conclusion we could say that your (Pierce´s) e-money is safe and that your drawing is becoming smoother.

I'm not a fan of Vore. It's more because sharks are just awesome.

And my favorite color is silver. Not red.

Also, the car roof is actually more about me being a racing fan.

If he made the background a bit lighter the silver could been a nice subtle hint that it's your favorite color.

Correct, preferred weapon, though I've seen her own drawings wielding a Guan Dao in a few occasions.

Like she replied, Silver is her favourite colour. To further specify, the only snake I can think of that's close to her colour scheme could be a Red/Yellow underbelly Cornsnake.

Yes, it is Warhammer, to specify further, she uses four detachments. Grey Knights, Imperial Guard (Soon to be named Astra Militarium which sounds awful to pronounce IMO) and Custom Space Marine Chapter (Eternal Legion by Blazbaros). Lastly, the fourth is actually an Inquisitor symbol, regarding her use of an Inquisitor alongside her three armies.

5= ??? At first sight those green objects look like being part of some sort of a board game...such as the Ouija. You got me clueless here.

That would still be warhammer again, those are blast templates (The funnel one is for flame-based attacks while the other two circular ones are Blast and Large Blast templates. To represent being hit by artillery.)

Correct. And personally, out of all the characters I've drawn. Flare is one of the easiest and quickest to depict. Thank goodness for short hair to add.

A quick tutorial of the Flame Template and Demonstrator.

Note: Random Warhammer 40k tactics for tabletop players, despite only few who play it here...
Anything touching the template in the shooting phase is an autohit with "Ignores Cover" for every successful wound roll.
Tactica: Best used against models that rely on Heavy cover and Stealth/Shroud attributes.
Examples: Scouts, Stealth Suits would be best affected by a Flamestorm cannon for both Armour penetration and ignoring cover.

The colour change through the skirt looks pretty good, and nice choice of background as well.
A nice addition to this image would be giving her a trident of some sort, as an aquatic variant to the spear.

*Headdesk* Your right, I can't believe I overlooked that part. Also I'm probably gonna change the shark skin to a generic grey if redrawn (Once considered a red shark half but... no such thing as a red shark).

I realized a month ago that Flare and I share a Zodiac sign (Scorpio) that's actually "water". Sometimes I can't help but think the fire aspect could be an act of rebellion against the origins.

Eating at Moose Winooski's with the family, and they just so happen to have a kids table to scribble on with crayons, had to draw the usual placeholder while waiting for an over-salty philly steak...
