But you still need the transporter to do so.
You can't put Gen V pokémon straight into the bank. (As I was saying a few posts ago)

I have them both I think. Well I have 3 Meloettas, because of the dupe bug I talked about before, and then two others from the events. Don't really care about my Victini or Keldeo though. I think I may have some other legendary laying around too.

Huzzah! Mew will be handled and Manaphy will be handled. Just need Shaymin and I'll only have to wait for Diancie when she comes out.

Sad thing is Pokemon Bank doesn't let you transfer items.

All this talk of previous games and items gets me to thinkin' . . . I really wish they'd given us an event for the Azure Flute here in the English versions of Diamond and Pearl; had a friend cheat it into my game back in high school and . . . wow. That was an experience, let me tell you. The trek there's the same bitch it always was, but the spectacle and the scenery were -- for the games it was in -- rather awe-inspiring. Really gave you the sense that you were, indeed, going into the heavens to engage something beyond the scope of the realm below.

My tenses might be all over the place but at this point in time I'm kinda beyond caring about it.

Something just hit me.

They are re-releasing the Gen 3 main game... does this mean in the near future we might see a re-re-release of the Gen 1 games?

Maybe... But in the mid to long term future I'm afraid.
After a remake of both Gen IV and Gen V most likely, so it may take quite a few years to a 3D installment of Kanto games.

Yeah, I imagine the earliest we would see one would be 2016, in line with Pokémon's 20th anniversary. But that's just a wild guess on my part.

We might also get another new set of pokemon around that time.

I only need Manaphy now. Shaymin and Mew are acquired and I pretty much have the full dex. 717 pokemon, and until Diancie comes to the U.S. along with the others and Manaphy falls into my hands. Never could do it usually but this is the first time in a while I got a full dex.

I'm more thrilled about Steven Stone making his comeback as a Champion than for Metagross Mega Form (I'll give my two cents once its type, stat distribution and abilities are revealed). ^^

So some new info from Srebii. The new PokeDex is based on the GBA. Pokemon Amie will be returning. Mega Diancie has Magic Bounce. Pikachu might be getting some forms or something. Next month CoroCoro will have a "Mega Evolution Scoop" so I think we'll be more info on the current Megas plus info on new ones.

Wait...what?
If they want to buff the Pikachu line that badly... Wouldn't it be better to give it a secondary type? Or even giving Raichu a Mega Form? Pikachu may be the Pokémon tradenark mascot (much to millions of players' chagrin), but as a Pokémon is pretty much... worthless (Only Volt Tackle save him).
Giving Pikachu boosts and "nice things" is like giving a sword to a Dancer in a Fire Emblem game...^^U

by the looks of corocoro...the only forms pikachu is getting are the costumes to possibly show off the improved pokemon contests...that's just my opinion though.

I seriously hope that's the case (As if Pikachu weren't special enough of a race when Kalos games went and give them voices instead of the typical "growl"...).
I would love to see a Mega Raichu though... Electric/Fighting maybe? That would be quite the blast...

.P.S.: I like Brawly and Roxanne's new looks (Brawly looks way more like a brawler now and Roxanne looks even cuter now... thing that I thought to be impossible), however I'm not fond of Wattson's though... Lightning themed hawaiian shirt? Really... Looks way out of place... Even for a region that is based after Okinawa...

Honestly I'm surprised they didn't give Pikachu a Mega form of his own. Make Pikachu only not fully evolved Pokemon to get a Mega form. I myself like Pikachu but as it stands Pikachu is a bad Pokemon. Volt Tackle really isn't much to be honest. Just an electric Take Down.

That would be solved by giving the Pikachu line a split evolution considering both Pikachu and Raichu as two branches for a previous form (Pichu) and boosting Pikachu's stats to match Raichu's (but distributed differently).
There's absolutely no need to give a Mega Form for an intermediate stage Pokémon when there are hundreds of final stage Pokémon that desperately need the massive stat boost, usefulness and spotlight that have seen neglected for so long (Raichu ironically needing it, since it's overshadowed by quite the few electric types despite being pretty decent itself).

Heck... Pikachu can get some help with the help of either Light Ball (to boost both attack and special attack) or the Eviolite (to boost both defense and special defense).
Raichu... has nothing... (And if you want to have to have a decent Raichu you must endure a Pikachu for a whooping 40+ levels for it to not only have decent movepool without having to spend thousands of Pokédollars on it but also for it to have decent speed).

Some new updates have come out. First off I hate the Gym Leader redesigns aside from Roxanne and Flannery. Mega Metagross has Tough Claws as it's ability. Stat wise it gets all around boosts. In other Metagross is to be feared once again. Mega Diancie's stat changes have also come out. Mega Diancie gets boosts to her speed, attack and special attack but defense and special defense. So Diancie is a sweeper more or less.
