Dragon/Fairy type though...
It's a rather cool dual typing (a dragon inmune to dragon types).

I'm surprised to see more people fond of Altaria, it's easily my favorite dragon type (alongisde Flygon and the whole Goomy line).
It's not as devastating as other drgons, but it's quite durable compared to most of them (Altarias make for decent Special tanks) ^^

Pokésetting was made by a wizard

For the same reason because Remoraid goes from fish to octopus, Trapinch from antlion to dragonfly and then from dragonfly to dragon, Pidove from dove/pigeon to pheasant, Fletchling from robin to hawk or Starly from starling to hawk...

...because of yeah.

But don't give a second thought about it, just enjoy the fluffy dragon made both of love and doom <3

They're based off mythological beasts from Chinese and Japanese folklore. From what I've read Altaria is based off the Chinese Peng, a giant bird that has the head of a dragon. It's all quite interesting really.

That IS really interesting. Now it makes sense! Most Pokemon seem to be inspired by something then.

Yup. Even the Fairy types weaknesses follow that pattern. Also seems you can Mega Evolve during Contests.

Is that right? I don't even know how contests work nowadays. I feel off in Gen 3, where I thought they were kinda fun. Gen 4 contests just deterred me away from them pretty much all together.

My guess is they'll work like they did in Gen 3. I still PokeStar Studios should get it's spin-off game though.

Antlion into dragonflies makes sense as Adult Antlions look like dragonflies and some dragonflies are called Sand Dragons as that's why flygon has a more Dragon like design.

Seems logic

(It would have made more sense to make Trapinch Bug/Ground and both Vibrava and Flygon Bug/Dragon though)

A bit too redundant, but there was reeased a video to cover more in depth what was being discussed here on the last posts.

Looking good so far

.P.S.: I hope that the Shiny Beldum gift will be worldwide (just like the Torchic on X/Y)

Not gonna lie, Mega Metagross looks pretty awesome. I'm noticing a lot of pseudo-legendary Pokemon are getting mega evolutions now. I wonder if Dragonite will get one eventually.

Mega Salamence makes me think of Stealth Bombers for some reason. I think its the shape.

...And... Two more mega evolutions have been confirmed (well, acutally leaked but you get my drill):

-Mega Slowbro (Water/Psychic with Shell Armor)
-Mega Audino (Normal/Fairy with Healer)

Those are two I did not expect to get Mega Evolutions. Well, pleasant surprise I guess.

Still waiting for Mega Lilligant. Maybe I'll get tempted to turn on the game again.

And Mega Audino? Jin is going to be one happy Jin.

...Is it just me, or does Mega-Slowbro look like "Just what happened here?" with his expression?

Not to mention that it's a surprisingly decent mixed tank if given a proper chance ^^
