Zauberheim - Kingdom of Magic RP
Zauberheim...
A kingdom known for a number of things, some little things that made profound differences. Raised on an elevated section of land, it's stone walls stood out majestically into the sky for every traveler who gazed upon them. Backed by dark mountains to the North it could even make a frightening vista for those who thought naught but ill for the inhabitants.
And yet the kingdom was peaceful. Ruled over by the benevolent Reinhardt von Zauberheim, Fifth Ruler of of the Magical Kingdom. Husband to Brunhilde von Zauberheim also known as the Luminous Queen, and father to young Lisianthus von Zauberheim and Lutz von Zauberheim, crowned Princess and Prince of the Kingdom.
While years ago he had lead the Lost Daemon Crusades and put the cultist groups to rest, now he ruled in a time of peace and plenty. He ruled with a firm yet fair hand, to which the people adored and respected.
Unlike other human establishments, however, the King had made a most radical upset within the western lands; Zauberheim was home to mamono and humans alike. It was certainly an idea that clashed with those of the Order, much like the entire region of Zipangu, yet through his connections and reputation King Reinhardt kept that most radical of naysayers at bay. That isn't to say the mamono didn't have to compromise.
No mamono could come near a woman with intents to change them to mamono. That was certainly a blow for succubi everywhere. Also the Royal Family and Advisors were off limits to mamono as well. There were others rules of course, and one could imagine any mamono balking at the thought of all these rules just so they could live in the kingdom. But it was necessary if the kingdom wished to keep it's human numbers up and healthy.
Same reason why the guards at the gates took their jobs so seriously. There were 3 gates any traveler had to pass through before getting into the kingdom proper, so everyone was checked 3 times over for anything and everything. There were very, very few that could pass through without inspection.
Especially with future events in store, for like years before it was time once more for the Grand Academy Tournament. An event where the top graduates of Seraph Academy battled to see who truly was number one of their year. This year however, things would be a little different, for rumour had it that there would be outside participants partaking in the tournament. At the moment that didn't matter to a certain cloaked figure who was trying to get past the Southern gates without notice.
While the time was around midday, the sky was dark with clouds, releasing a drowning deluge of rain that made things difficult to see ahead. The cloaked figure didn't need to worry however, with footsteps light and use of convinient shadows the figure had made it up the cobble road past the first 2 gates without issue.
The last however might prove... challenging.
Overlooking the proceedings in this dreary weather was another cloaked figure, one that every Orderlite in Zauberheim knew and respected; Eli Booker. He seemed engrossed with the proceedings, and with the rolling thunder and pitter patter of rain it would be difficult for the figure to be heard but no guard was lowered. Not until he was passed this gate unnoticed. It was simply a matter of waiting for the right moment, which appeared might be soon as an unknown Soldier walked up the Booker and saluted despite the downpour...

Northwestern Gate
-----------------
Like the South gate the entire kingdom were caught in the deluge, only those fortunate enough to have shelter could postpone the inevitable fate of being soaked to the bone. At the Northwestern gate a wagon had just passed through the last gate, of which every occupant was gland for. Among them was a man of medium build with mid-length dark brown hair and a peculiar set of dark purple eyes.
He was covered in a mixture of light and medium armor, mixed with a dark gray-ish robe. Between his knees rested his weapons as leaning within the side of the wagon with it equipped could prove...uncomfortable. Those traveling with him within the wagon did not know his name, only that they had picked him up from the last town. But if they did, some might have wished to take another wagon.
For the Dark Swordsman was here for a bar in town. A particular bar where he was told a member of the Order was to meet him...

Royal Library
-------------
Deep within the lower levels of the Royal Library laid the archives, wherein laid the recorded history of all Zauberheim and those connected to it. Scrolls and tomes lined the shelves and bookcases in a meticulous arrangement, and despite the age of the written scrolls each were kept in pristine condition.
Aside from a few lit candles much of the room was covered in darkness, just how it's current sole occupant liked it.
Looming over a large scroll was the Historian, a peculiar character noted for various quirks. His dislike of being referred as a vampire due to his pale skin, his remarkable knowledge of history and of course, he preference for dark rooms such as the Archives. He was of average height and weight of most men, with brown hair and blue eyes though both looked dark due to the low candle light.
Even as far down as he was, booming thunder still echoed within the room, though to a bearable level...

Zauberheim was noted for many things, the King who ruled it, the Seraph Academy, and then there was the Zauberheim Magical Research and Developement Facility. A building where various mages and scholars of the magical arts came to study and possibly improve upon magic as they knew it.
Dry within one of its many research halls were a pair of young boys, each a student of the prestigious Seraph Academy.
The first was a rather short young lad with hair as white as freshly fallen snow. Eyes blue as saphires gazed through a pair of glasses to the book before the teen, who despite his height was actually 2 years off from 20. Covered in a comfortable blue shirt and pants he sat quietly as the rain outside echoed pleasently throughout the all. The young lad was known as Iva, short for Ivadi Ambrosius, a rather bright boy in the use of magic but not so much in the social scene. Proof of this was that he sat at the opposite end of the hall from one of his classmates, one Brandon Valiquette.
With short brown hair and blue eyes lighter than Iva's, it complemented his lean yet muscular build, as seen from the arms he bared from rolled sleeves. Small scars littered the limbs, a testiment to the hard work and experimentation the lad performed. Clearly taller than his classmate Brandon sat with ease at the table, tools around him as a gauntlet lay before him. How the pair had become situated like this was unknown to either but as it stood neither looked like they were willing to move.
In the nearest hallway walking with a book in hand was a third student of Seraph Academy. With his dark blue tunic, eyes, scruffy black hair and mace on his hip he had made quite the impression as he walked. Young Peter E. Culiar, son of humble farmers and yet a student at the most prestigious of academies of magic.
Book of Ice Magic in hand, Peter had been directed to this hall for study by a very unique man to the facility; one Tibrus Heatherman, the Architect of Zauberheim...

Water flowed off rooftops and outcroppings like small rivers as the storm continued. Until it stopped business would be slowed to a crawl all over. From the bakery to the smithy to the small yet humble Potions Shop not 2 shops away from the local bar. This shop was manned by a young man named Seth, one who had come to Zauberheim a few years ago.
While business had been slow at first for the lad, with every potion bought his reputation spread and improved to where it was now. He was not the most famous, but had chosen a good place to set up shop where lots of customers would pass by his window to look at his wears... were it not for the pouring deluge outside...

Ivadi was busy in his research making great strides to improve upon his secret project. one he had been working on since day one in his stay at the academy. to that end he had visited the research halls any chance he got. right now he was looking at a tome of advanced magic theory to improve the design of the project. since he was quite focused on this work of his he didn't really mind the presence of others in the research hall, only glancing once at the arrival of Peter before going back to reading

Eastern Gate
------------------
At the eastern entry point there was also commotion and a hectic atmosphere. People were scrambling to get within the walls of the kingdom, wanting to hopefully get out of the downpour. Normally it would take one a rather good while to reach the city through the bastion, each point having three gates. However, for one man this would not be an issue. Walking up through the third gate of the eastern point was a rather tall man, and while his clothing was obscured by his dull brown cloak his face was clearly visible.
He had dark hair with blue tint and distinctly azure eyes. His facial features marked him as a well-known mercenary, becoming famous due to his skill and track record. Not many refer to him by name, as not many known it either. Most know him by his earned title, however, "Iaidosai no Mizuchi". He was being escorted through the gate by what appeared to be a court official. This is what allowed the mercenary to pass through inspection without hindrance.
The mercenary and the official finally pass through and arrive within the kingdom's walls. The mercenary saw that the official had a carriage paired with two horses ready for them to use. The official said he would take the sell-sword as far as the inner city. After that, the Iaidosai was to make his way to the Seraph Academy, where he would be briefed on more information on why he was summoned here. With the rain still pouring down, the two men step into the rather regal-looking carriage and make their way deeper into the territory.

Re: Zauberheim - Kingdom of Magic RP
Looking through the window of his store Seth saw the heavy rainfall outside, with that kind of weather chances are he wouldn't get many customers for a while. "Hrm..." He shook his head and walked to the back room of the small store, there he started taking count of his ingredients, it wouldn't do to run out of important ingredients. It took Seth a few minutes to take count of everything but he didn't really have anything better to do anyway. Once he was done he could see that as far as ingredients went he still had decent reserves but he would have to remember to prepare for a gathering trip in the coming weeks.

The Archives.
"At least the suns not out, and its raining, all is good in the world."
Nicholas was doing what he loved and always did, learn the past and recorded Some minor and most major things in almost total darkness. Most people couldn't see with just one candle, let alone: read, write and be in a all-around good mood. Normally he would just stay in the archives until night rolled around and go home, but today was different, it was raining. Nicholas usually goes home early when it rained, he didn't know why, be he loved it when it rained.
Nicholas simply got the candle and started walking in the general direction he thought was the way out, the library was a huge place that although he almost lived in it, could almost never remember how to get out. "God damn this amazing place, i need to start making maps so i can not get lost again." Nicholas mumbled to himself, quietly as he walked, he didn't bother picking up the scroll because he would just come here tomorrow and sit in the same place and do the same thing, over and over again, it might've been repetitive but he loved it.
As Nicholas came to the exit he could overhear one of the librarians saying "Bye Nick." "Bye." he replied, he never talked with the librarians allot, although they were used to him, he wasn't used to them, in fact he never even bothered to learn any of their names.
As Nicholas walked out into the rain he sighed, then started walking back home. On the way home he saw a carriage coming by, he'd recognized it as almost royal status, having white and gold symbolized nobility or royalty, although Nicholas would've preferred it Roman Purple that was just a thought he had, as purple in the Roman Empire symbolized a great General or the Emperor himself, but that was just a though and he continued home.
(META)Holy shit why did i make that so long.(/META)

Re: Zauberheim - Kingdom of Magic RP
Finally after a long week of travelling he finally reached zauberheim, where he was supposed to meet with his contact at a local bar near the northwestern gate.
He still couldn't believe how lucky he was to find a wagon heading to zauberheim much less going inside the city, sure the wagon wasn't exactly of a luxurious and well made, it did its job nonetheless, he didn't really bother too much at questioning things, "say though, whats your name?" a young teenager asked him, he had been traveling in the wagon with these people for the whole day, and the glares and stares just wouldn't stop coming throughout it, so much that it was enough to let him feel uneased. "the name is Henry, thats as much as I can say kid" he said with a relaxed tone as he was still resting.
After they went past the last gate, thankfully the inspections on the wagon went smoothly and no trouble was caused, he waited for the wagon to stop, which it did, right exitings the gate, "hmm" he took a moment to look around, see if he could see the bar or not, although he could very well ask for directions, he didn't really like doing so, he then decided to get off the wagon, gathering his weapons and equipment before getting off, "here's what I owe for taking me here" he said giving a few coins to the wagon's owner, as he then quickly walked near the buildings in order to avoid getting soaked, he could use magic to protect himself from it, but he just didn't feel like it at the time, it was then he came up with some signs indicating where some places were, luckily, it said where the bar was and pointed in its direction, which he surely followed.

If you think of me as nothing more than a mere wanderer...you are trully mistaken, because I can destroy the very fabric of your being with the power bestowed upon me.

Re: Zauberheim - Kingdom of Magic RP
Walking through a hallway, the young Peter Culiar gazed at the windows to see the tears of the sky endlessly drop against the glass. He was glad he was inside and by that felt a little sorry for those outside. He decided to shift his thoughts to another topic and found himself reminiscing his first encounter with the fellow called Assassin...
The sky was black dotted by the many stars as young boy in a dark blue tunic was walking through a dark alleyway. He knew this was dangerous especially at the current time of the day but he needed to get back to the dormitories as soon as possible for the curfew was to be over in half an hour. He would have been back had the line in the shop not as long as a Sandworm but that was the past and the only thing that mattered to Peter now was getting back to the dormitories.
He was halfway through the alley when a figure blocked his path. Taking a good look, Peter gazed upon a short but menacing person before him. He only had a green jacket on which was open revealing his quite muscular torso. "Well, well what do we have here?" His voice was that of a thug's and so was his face. The student trembled as he had not encountered such an event in his life. He had heard about them but it never occurred to him it would actually happen to him. "You, boy. You look like you've got some valuables on ya. Why don't ya hand them over and we'll all forget this ever happened."
Peter would regularly give in but this time a thought occurred to him that he could take on this mugger. After all, this man was just a city bandit and he is a practitioner of magic. "I know that look boy. You planning on takin' me on?" The student was taken aback. "Fine by me." Peter then felt more presences emerging and looked behind only to see two thugs, both had builds of a fighter. Returning his gaze at the first thug, it appeared he was now joined by two more thugs.
The student was now intimidated. "Okay, okay! Take what you want!"
"You know what? Maybe we'll rough you up since you didn't say yes the first time." The short thug said. "Boys."
The student wanted to run but knew he could not as the two much larger men approached him like wolves about to make a kill. He could only stare as he was about to enter a world of pain. Though suddenly, like lightning the two thugs were down on the ground with another person in the middle, his hands on the napes of the fallen thugs.
"What the--" the short thug exclaimed as the person, dressed in black like the night sky slowly rose and faced Peter who could not see his eyes for the hood concealed them. "Get him!"
The hooded person ran towards Peter who moved out of the way, allowing him to face the two thugs. One of them swung his fist towards the hooded person only for the latter to duck and slash the thug's leg with a dagger. As he rose, the hooded person placed his hand on the second thug's mouth and soon blood was oozing from his neck. Turning around, he introduced the living thug to his knee and knocking him out before walking towards the short thug.
The last thug brandished a shortsword though this did little to ease his tensions. When the hooded person was close enough, the thug tried to swing his sword but the hooded man proved to be much faster and he was struck in the neck two times with a dagger.
Peter thought of the encounter as surreal and remembered how Assassin then explained silently his objective to safeguard the student. He was a little bitter about the deaths of the thugs who could have been only knocked out and sent to jail though at the time he was in shock and the entire thing happened very fast.
The student had asked if he was hired by his parents but Assassin did not reply.
MEANWHILE
The hooded person stood on the stone roof of a high building, looking down upon the masses of Zauberheim. Once a rain drop fell on his covered head, Assassin then dropped to ledge before leaping to another and continuing to do so until he reached the ground. Some of the cityfolk saw this but decided not to involve themselves in the business of an acrobat.
Assassin then headed into an empty alleyway and put on a pair of shades before pulling up his hood. From there he went to the most prestigious magic school in all of Zauberheim, Seraph Academy to do check on Peter Culiar and...

"You're participating in that tournament right?" Annabelle the blonde-haired cannibal Orderite asked the woman with her on a restaurant table.
"Yep." Rielle the magician Orderite usually wearing a noticeable top hat but absent due to table manners replied.
Annabelle puffed her cheeks. "I wish I could join. I wanna taste those Seraph Academy students."
"Who knows? Maybe they'll invite you."
Soon a waitress approached the two Orderites. "Madams, may I interest in today's turkey special?"
"No thanks. I've already eaten." Annabelle cheerully replied. The waitress then looked at Rielle who shook her head politely.
After the waitress had left, Rielle turned to the cannibal. "Who was it this time?" She asked.
"Oh, just some guy who was going to deliver some stuff to a student in Seraph Academy." Annabelle replied. "Must be his father or brother or something."
"Oh? I can't wait to hear about it." The magician said followed with a dark giggle.

Brandon sat at one of the empty desks in the research hall. He was too indulged in his tinkering with his gauntlet. The Thruster Gauntlet to be more precise. The rocket on its back needed to be adjusted so that it gives short bursts instead of being active indefinitely. This will help counter a flaw with the design. The rocket was powerful enough to cause it to pull the wearer with it. Making the wearer more predictable. If an adversary became aware of the flaw and take advantage of it, it would no doubt be scraped as obsolete. However, with the short bursts, it can help change trajectory more easily and use the burst to avoid harms way. This will also increase the burst to the point that it can be use to avoid fall damage or grant flight. Although, using the gauntlet as a method of transportation is not recommended due to it being somewhat unpredictable when in the air. It's going to take someone who is well familiar with it to apply such methods in combat. Fortunately, he's one of them.
"Damn...", Brandon cursed as he pulled his hand away from the gauntlet. He placed his tools down as he examined his hand. He accidentally shocked himself when tinkering the gauntlet. From what he can see, it's just a flesh wound. He picked his tools back up and continue to work on his gauntlet. He did not acknowledge anyone in the research hall as he was too engrossed with his tinkering. Though he gave a glance at any new arrivals such as Ivadi and Peter, but he quickly turn his attention back to his gauntlet.

Northwestern Gate
---
Walking through the rain, a lone cloaked figure was making his way to the Northwestern Gate to enter the Kingdom of Zauberheim. This figure is none other than The Order hunting Word Play. A high ranking member of the Mamono Faction that has dedicated himself in locating and neutralizing the influence of The Order in every kingdom. As he arrive at the checkpoint, Word Play made sure that the badge he's wearing is still on. The badge is something similar to what a store employee would wear to introduce to others. On the badge, the word 'Nobody' was visible. The guards paid no mind to him wearing a mask at all. When one of the guards came up to him for identification, Word Play gave him a folded sheet of paper. Unfolding the sheet of paper, the word 'Pass' would be visible, but to the guard, the paper appears to be a legal parchment that allows Word Play to enter the kingdom unhindered. Turning to his fellow guard, he gave them a nod of confirmation. Folding the paper again, the guard return it to Word Play before allowing him to enter through the first gate.
'One down, two to go.', Word Play thought to himself as he continued to the next checkpoint to repeat the process. He was sent here by his superiors under the suspicion that something big was about to happen in Zauberheim. He was never given any specific details, but that didn't matter to him. He'll just do what he always do. Hunt down some Orderites and kill them while he wait for further instructions from his superiors.

With the raindrops still falling from the clouds above, the two occupants of the carriage plus the driver make their way inward towards the inner city of the kingdom. Looking out the window with his saber in his lap, the mercenary observes the scenery of the market town. There were various vendors, merchants, and shops as far as the eye could see. The official, noticing the swordsman looking at the outside town, begins to speak.
"So, is this your first time here in a real kingdom? You seem to be rather fascinated by the sights so far.", spoke the official. Though he spoke softly, there was an underlying tone that gave off an air of arrogance. The mercenary glances at the official for a moment before speaking, removing his hand from its resting place on the bottom of his face. "No, it is not.", he replied in a callous voice. "I've been hired by nobles living in kingdoms before. While the town does have many vendors, I wouldn't say that I am overly enthralled by it. By the way, what do you mean by a real kingdom?" The mercenary was rather curious to see where the official's mind was, as he could feel the snide nature of the nobleman since he first met him. The nobleman spoke again, "Is that so? Well you should feel grateful that you were contacted by such a prestigious domain. We normally wouldn't bother with such a lowly commoner like yourself, despite your skill. And what I meant by a real kingdom is quite obvious. There aren't many territories out there who are as refined in the magical arts as we. Furtherm-", the official's sentence was cut off by the piercing stare of the mercenary.
The look on the young swordsman's face told the nobleman that he had grown rather impatient with the snob's attitude. Intimidated by the gaze of the sword-wielder, he rethinks his speech before speaking again. The official, noticing the situation clears his throat and adjust his shirt. "Well, at any rate we're nearly to the grand city of Zauberheim. As stated earlier, you are to make your way to the Academy and meet with the tournament official to be briefed on the next phase of your contract." The Iaidosai, still having a lax air about him replied, "While that's all well and good, you still haven't bother to tell me the meaning of the coin you gave me." The young man pulls out a coin with the symbol of a sun from his left pocket. He holds it up in his hand so both passengers can see it. "And you haven't told me what you want of me specifically, besides the fact you intend for me to participate in this tournament of yours." The nobleman replied, "Patience my good man, patience, all will be revealed in time. Just be sure to do as your told, and remember that it isn't your place to ask questions."
"Sir, we've arrived at the city." Said the driver in an orderly voice. "Well, here we are, you'd best be on your way, swordsman." With that, the carriage comes to a stop. The swordsman steps out of the carriage and steps foot into the city. He looks around as he sees the glorious buildings and structures with humans and mamono walking about. Off in the distance, the Seraph Academy can be seen, the long pole with the school's symbol marking its location. The mercenary then turns to see the carriage driving off. "Hmph, damn snob. Oh well, at least don't have to listen to his mouth now." The swordsman with his blade fastened to his belt turns and begins to make his way to the Academy through the city.

With a crash of booming thunder a pair of doors opened, startling one of the attendants. They calmed however seeing the man at the door. Everyone at the R&D Facility knew this man for not only was he a surprising expert at magical theory, but was the head Architect of the kingdom; one Tibrus Heatherman.
The attendant watched as his short black hair shook from side to side as he turned his head, low mutterings under the mans breath.
"Excuse me, Master Heatherman? Is everything alright?" Round brown eyes looked sharply at the person who spoke, finding a young man who looked rather plain in his facility robe. And to be quite honest, the Architect couldn't recall the attendants name.
"Everything is quite fine my lad, merely thinking as I stroll through the halls. Now I'm sure one of the Research Heads might need your aid, go on, off with you." His tone was serious but not unkind. With a bow of his head the young nameless attendant left through the door Tibrus had just walked through. Knowing he wouldn't be disturbed Tibrus took his time walking through the halls.
Despite what he had told the young lad everything was not exactly fine. Once more his request to study the early records of the kingdom had been denied by the High Council and he couldn't understand why.
Sure, the Heatherman line was not as prestigious as many other noble bloodlines but it was his family line that had designed and help build this fair kingdom. Was that not enough for some recompense?
Apparently not. Taking a deep breath Tibrus put those thoughts from his mind as he entered one of the research halls, where he found 3 of Seraph Academy students, including young Peter Culiar. Bright boy, but could use some confidence outside of defending other people.
Gazing at the others he found Ivadi Ambrosius caught inside a book which was not surprising. He had heard many a good thing about the lad's studies, and if Tibrus were a betting man he would bet young Ivadi would be a large part of the R&D Facility in the future.
The other lad, hunched over something with a set of tools around him he hadn't heard too much about, though he had heard the name Brandon...Valiquette? No matter, he would learn it in time. Making his way over he looked over the various tools the boy used, as well as the various small scars upon the boys arms.
'So, a very diligent worker...' Coming to a stop near the young man Tibrus raise a fist, coughing lightly into it in order to catch the boy's attention...

Hearing the light coughing from his side, assuming that someone wants his attention, he stopped his tinkering and set his tools down. Turning to the side to see who it is that wanted to see him, he was caught off guard when he saw Tibrus Heatherman. He had heard about him and his family, who were responsible with the construction of the kingdom, he quickly stand up to greet him.
"Ah, hello sir! I'm so sorry, I didn't notice you were there!", Brandon greeted and apologized at the same time. He berated himself for not noticing him sooner. He was so engrossed with his gauntlet that he tuned out everything except the gauntlet. He held his hand out for a handshake. Out of the few people he respected, Tibrus Heatherman is obviously one of them. He was excited to meet someone such as Tibrus Heatherman and find to be an honor to actually meet him in person. At the same time, he is also nervous and wanted to make a good impression.

Walking through the third and final gate, Word Play finally entered the city. He tucked the folded sheet of paper into his cloak before continuing forward. Stretching his arms, he let out a yawn from the lack of sleep he had on his journey to Zauberheim. He made it a point to get to the instructed destination as quickly as possible before resting or lazing around. Feeling tired already and the fact that it's raining, he decided to find a inn to stay. If is that not possible, he can always go to a cafe and wait for the rain to end. He continued onward until he finds an inn or a cafe.
Sometimes later, he found a cafe and decided to wait the rain out. Entering the cafe, he walked over to a empty table and sat there. Not long after, a waiter came to his table. "Hello sir! How may I help you?", he asked. The waiter was completely ignorant of Word Play's mask due to the spell 'Nobody' still in effect.
"I'll just have coffee.", Word Play stated, "Do you have take outs?", he inquired.
"Why yes we do! What would you like?", the waiter asked.
"I'll have today's special.", Word Play replied. The waiter nodded and went to place his orders while Word Play waited for his food.

the light commotion of the voice got Ivadi's attention from his book. he looked up from his tome as he saw what happened. he was surprised to see Tibrus Heatherman, in the same room as them. he found this event in itself rather interesting. so he placed his study on hold as he silently watched form the distance. also perhaps hoping to learn something about Sir Tibrus as well. ["having an important person here is quite an honor. I wonder if i could learn something from the lesson he's about to teach Brandon..."] he thought as he closed the tome to observe the two ["maybe he could help me with my work if i have the time to show him later.."]

The Architect's face didn't move at the boy's greeting/apology, and for a few seconds stared him in the eye. After that moment however, Tibrus grabbed the lads hand in a firm handshake.
"No need for apologies lad, every diligent worker can become engrossed with their work and tune out the rest of the world." He didn't smile but his eyes showed he had his focus on the boy.
"Young Brandon...Valiquette is your name correct lad? Hmm... from what I've of you you're a bt of a tinckerer..." His brown eyes turned to the guantlet on the table. After letting go of the handshake Tibrus folded both hands behind his back and took a slow walk around the table, taking his time to gaze at the guantlet from different angles, tilting his head this way and that as he did so.
"Hmm..." placing a hand to rub his chin, the man hummed with a slight nod.
"An interesting piece there lad. Invent this yourself?"

Re: Zauberheim - Kingdom of Magic RP
While walking down the empty streets of the city Henry couldn't help but wonder what exactly did the contac wanted from him, he was only told to come to zauberheim and to meet him at the bar nearest to the northwestern gate, a cafe bar of sorts he didn't really know, or cared at that, he was surprised that even with such a downpour like this, the shops were still open to customers and the like, which was good, as he saw a shop that caught his interest, a potion shop of sorts, at least thats what he could get from the shop's sign which was undoubtedly soaked in water, thankfully he himself wasn't soaked, due to staying below anything he could and when no one was looking, using a small magic barrier to keep him from getting wet, and since barely anyone was out on the streets, it wasn't too much trouble.
He quickly moved in front of the potion's shop door, it was open like all other shops at the time, he opened the door and entered in, no doubt triggering the little bell the door had to warn the owner of customers, he quickly entered the shop and close the door, glad to be warm again since outside was pretty cold, not like it was of any trouble really his armor protected him of the cold, but still "hello?" he said, he couldn't help but look at the wares, some nice looking potions, of all kinds too, clearly the owner was a skilled alchemist, he waited for the shop's owner to take notice of his presence.

If you think of me as nothing more than a mere wanderer...you are trully mistaken, because I can destroy the very fabric of your being with the power bestowed upon me.
Where there is a question there is an answer, where there is an option there is another, my path is mine alone to make.
Death? I have gotten used to it, for I cannot die...I come back every time.

Brandon let out a small sigh of relief. He was glad Tibrus Heatherman wasn't offended in anyway. He quickly return his focus on Tibrus when he asked about his name and reputation. "Yes, I'm Brandon Valiquette and you're correct, I'm an inventor.", he stated as he slowly grew nervous. He doesn't know if he should keep on talking. He doesn't want to annoy Tibrus by talking about himself. He was aware that Tibrus was focused on the Thruster Gauntlet and it makes him nervous. 'What does he think of it? Is he impress? Is he disappointed? Indifferent maybe?', he thought to himself. He immediately snapped out of his minor panic attack when Tibrus asked if he had made the gauntlet. "That's right, I invented it.", he confirmed Tibrus' assumption. "What do you think of it?", Brandon asked for Tibrus' opinion.

"If this is your very first invention lad you're certainly on to something here." He tapped a section of the guantlet that Brandon was working on.
"You've chosen some good materials to work with, helps it remain stable under some pressures. Chambers are a good width though you might want to thicken the area around the wrist. Might limit some mobility but it'll be safer for your bones from the impact. What magic form were you going to use with this? What Element for the thrust?"

Finishing up his count of the inventory Seth was about to note his current stocks in the book he kept for that exact reason when he heard the jingle of the chimes on his door signaling that he had a possible customer, he hastily wrote a few words into the book and then walked back to his counter. Taking a quick look at the man that just entered his shop he gave a small nod to himself. "Welcome! How can I help you on this rainy day?" he said to the man.

Brandon let out another sigh of relief. He can't believe that Tibrus Heatherman complimented his invention and gave him some tips. Though, now he has to answer a difficult question. Through out his stay in Seraph Academy, he had never once figure out the energy that powered his weapons. The items he created are different compared to other magical items. All of them are energy-based in some way.
"It's... hard to explain.", Brandon stated, "The weapons I've made over the years are different compared to other magical items. I believe I should explain my ability.", Brandon suggested as he held out both of his hands. Concentrating, both of his arms are radiating energy. His arms are casting a yellow aura though it appears stable and harmless. "The reason I enrolled to Seraph Academy yet focus on inventing weapons is that my powers can't be applied in combat.", Brandon stated. "The energy my arms emitting doesn't enhanced me at all. My speed, strength and endurance remain unchanged.", he explained. "When I first manifest my ability, I thought I could use it to become a great fighter or warrior. However, when I learn that I can't apply it in combat, I had to think of something else.", he continued, "At the time, I was planning on starting a company in my future. I needed investors to start my business off so I try to make something that people would buy.", he stated as he grew closer to how his powers was applied, "I don't know how to control my ability at the time so the energy around my arms were always active. I wanted to make a mask that could help others to enter places that was considered hazardous at the time, but when I finish making it, I found out what my ability was. Turns out, after long-term exposure to the energy around my arms, the mask developed abilities that I never actually gave it. It was the first item that I made with my ability. The mask, when put on, will force you to breathe in a strange gas that enhanced muscle memory, reflexes, strength and speed as well as avoiding toxic air that it was intended to.", Brandon continued. "After I made the mask and testing it, I was shocked at what it was capable of. I began making more items to test my ability out and realize that the abilities for each items was influenced by my mind.", he said as he deactivates his power. "In other words, my power adds perks to the items I've made. For example: I made another gauntlet with the intended purpose of producing electricity. Although, I intended it to be a prototype where it would only produce minor shocks, my powers actually made it into my 'finished' product. The electricity it produced was more powerful than intended. It produced powerful electricity to the point it can bring down a normal human on first contact in a second.", he stated. "I never really understand how my powers work. I don't have the resources to research it. All I know is that everything I make is influenced by my mind. The gauntlet on the table has a small rocket on the back that's connected to a small engine in the gauntlet. With the components I used, it wouldn't have produced much force, but my powers amplify its capabilities. I was tinkering with the rocket and the engine. I need it to produce short bursts instead of a singular blast. My powers would have altered the gauntlet's ability over time, though the energy in the gauntlet would be slightly unstable when doing so. I got shocked a few time to prove it.", he concluded. "Also, the materials its made of? I can tell you that it shouldn't exist. My power seem to cause the materials to turn into something else. From the limited resources I have, all of my weapons are made of a material that have never been heard of. It's highly durable but not indestructible. You need advanced military grade weapons if you want to break. Trust me, I made something to test the durability.", Brandon added.
"I hope that at least answered your question. If it doesn't, then I'm sorry. I just don't know how my powers truly work. All I know is that my mind influenced my inventions. I just want to capture some attention from investors to start research my ability and mass produced my inventions.", he stated.

A brow slowly raised itself as the lad explained himself and his ability. He hummed a moment before seating himself before the boy.
"Take a seat lad." He said simply, and once he immediately used a hand in a beckoning motion.
"Arms forward boy." Without answering any questions Tibrus grasped the outer part of Brandon's hands with a firm but not painful grip. For a moment all he did was shift his gaze between the boys hands flipping them over after a time. Aside from the whipping of candles in the hall, the only sounds were of the rain outside yet if anyone were to listen it seems to have lessened some.
Giving a small nod to himself Tibrus released Brandon's hands before folding his own together on the table.
"Well, you certainly have a unique gift my lad, 3rd most unique I've seen in my life. You did answer some of my questions, not all but some. As for your ability you'd be correct in the need for research lad; many people here would definitely be interested. You'll get attention lad, no doubt about that." He closed his eyes a moment, gathering thoughts before looking at the boy once more.
"These are merely my own thoughts on the matter for the moment, so do take my words with a grain of salt. I could be correct, I could be wrong or I could be half each. You've built items and equipment then with your energy add enhancements, changes and other properties to your equipment. That resembles a mixture of Alchemy and Synthesis to me."
"The enhancements depends on your initial thought for the item in question, and some that you didn't think about, which means your energy either has a chaotic side it in terms of what other enhancements are added or there might be a connection to your subconscious." Nodding again to himself he gazed at the gauntlet on the table.
"Again this is merely conjecture at this point until there's a chance to run some tests." He suddenly turned his head towards Ivadi and beckoned.
"You there, Ambrosuis. I know you've been listening in, come over here." His voice wasn't loud or forceful in tone, but had that quality all adults had that made children listen.

After listening to that detailed explanation of Brandon's magic and Tibrus' request. he nods as he brought his book with him as he sat with them. he was curious, in fact very curious about these turns of events that have unfolded. "yes Sir Tibrus?" he asked "and Brandon, my apologies for eavesdropping in on your conversation. hearing about that made me curious." he said with a bow. though he wasn't quite sociable he was indeed very polite
