Why do so many people hate Dr.Mario?
It's not that people hate him (well I kinda do, but that's because of my old timer hardcore SEGA fan status and all that jazz), it's more that is pretty much a waste of space (there are quite a plenty choices that could use that slot better and would be more sensible).
Heck I can understand that people gets pissed off if a recolor/palette swap/model swap prevents more original characters to appear (like Cless Alvein or Lloyd Irving) or even takes the spot of characters who already proved their worth in the series (like the Ice Climbers).
And Kaijin you are the "Perentie" of this place, IMO.
I'm happy Shulk is there since I've been watching Chuggaaconroy play Xenoblade Chronicles. Dunban and Riki as part of his Final Smash is quite and awesome sight.

I don't hate Dr. Mario, I just believe his inclusion is a bit useless. Personally, I think they could easily make Dr. Mario a simple alternate costume for old regular Mario. I imagine it's not all that difficult to disable a fire effect for when he shoots out pills if he was one. Of course, he may or may not have an entirely different moveset from vanilla Mario, but that remains to be seen.
It'll be interesting to see the Koopalings and the Duck Hunt dog in action.

Sounds to a pathetically lame excuse to me...
Besides, I find nigh impossible to believe that they have that little of a reputation and more when duck hunt's dog (which is loathed by millions of persons around the globe) is there...
...Not to mention that once this game starts to launch DLC content I'm pretty sure that everybody's favorite virtual eskimo married couple will be the first to be announced and released.

Yup, the Demo is fun indeed, tho limited by only 5 characters of Mario, Pikachu, Link, Megaman, and Villager, the game is still fun.
Now as for my input on the leak, well the only character appearance that threw me off was duck hunt. I mean why the hell would this annoying, yapping dog be a secret character rather than say, oh I don't know, more deserving characters like mewtwo, or some other characters?
The final smashes for all the characters are pretty nice, though I am rather disappointed by the lack of orignality for some of them. Yoshi's and Charizards for one thing is way too damn similiar, the only difference being that Charizard can to a swirl attack, but that's pretty much it >_>. Rob's final smash is actually not bad. Dark pit was probably the character I was most disappointed about in terms of final smash. Using the dark staff like Zelda's and Shieks final smash, SO LAME and LAZY. I would have rather seen dark pit use something more original, maybe like taking advantage of his ability to fly indefinately like in Uprising
And Lucina...god...I hate being wrong, but fuck everything about her is the same as Marth's, it's so disappointing on so many level's...I get that in the awakening game, she looks up to and mirrors Marth's legacy, but christ, doing that to her makes her just another carbon copy.
Luckily, the pro's of this game outweigh the ugly cons for me, so I still want and love this game, it just could have been way better.
The DLC better offer up good compensasion for the lack of originality for some of the character >_>
