Ventreus shook his head as his giddy smile shrunk a small bit. "You would be correct, I do not know all the types of magic there are. It takes months of studying on type of building block to fully understand what it is, and that's not even including its potential in casting spells, that's just knowing its base properties, and what makes it able to do what it does. I only know a handful of the building blocks, of which I call motes, due to their wisp-like shape. However that are many, many motes that I don't know about. Why just today I've seen a good seven or eight motes that I have no idea what they do, and the only thing stopping me from dragging off the people with those motes and studying them all to my hearts content is the fact that they all belong to outsiders that have come to participate in the tournament. The king only said that I could come and make contracts with these people that I meet, and nothing else."

As they approached the group, Ventreus could see all the unfamiliar faces, and a few of the familiar ones as well. The princess was here, as well as her band of merry mamono. A few of the students who he'd seen today were here; and then there was those here that he didn't recognize. He blinked a few times, and his vision switched to that of motes. Maybe these ones would have a different composition too? More motes to see, and make a mark of?

"Do I have to get my Bass Cannon, or will you be good?"
War is good. It stimulates the economy for both sides taking part in it; and as long as there's demand, I'll have a supply!
Naa, war is boring. There's never any good music made about war.
You realize I'm a merchant...not a DJ, right?
Oh, that's what you're doing wrong! I knew it was something, couldn't quite tell what.

Henry was intrigues by that the man said "motes huh? well thats unique, interesting" he said with a complimenting tone as he walked with Allo, "then that means im one of them..." he said after hearing Allo mentioning all the new 'motes' he found are from outside participants, well that certainly surprised him.
----
Luminous Citadel
---
As he walked with Allo, Henry felt many auras, most of which he didn't really recognize or really cared for, a few stood out though, Lisia and her friend's and the two women that were talking with them, both of these women had very dark and menacing aura, which he would remember to keep an eye out for them,
he waved at the Princess as he walked, a simple hand wave, probably not even that but still, he walked along until he could feel something change in Allo's aura, the change was barely noticeable but Henry was adept at noticing even small changes in auras and the environment, he didn't really stopped to ask Allo what happened as he just thought it had something to do with his 'motes' he kept walking with him nonetheless, as he walked with him he took off his hood, revealing his face and hair, his bright purple eyes as he followed Allo.

If you think of me as nothing more than a mere wanderer...you are trully mistaken, because I can destroy the very fabric of your being with the power bestowed upon me.

Re: Zauberheim - Kingdom of Magic RP
Annabelle may not be a powerful magic user but even she could feel the anxiety directed toward her by the students around her. Soon a Vampire and another male student returned from the counter and more anxiety was thrown at her. Normally the cannibal would get her guard up but she knew the students would not do anything rash as to attack a seemingly innocent bystander without evidence.
Moments after, Rielle has returned as well. "Oh Rielle, I found your competition." She motioned to the students. "Pretty tough aren't they?"
"I'd say." The White Witch glanced at all of her potential opponents and noticed one that caught her interest. "Princess Lisianthus? You're participating too? If so, it would be an honor to face you Your Grace." She bowed to the Crown Princess.
Two more men have joined the tense group. One having shaggy brown hair and wearing robes of blue and purple colors and the other has dark-brown hair wearing dark gray armor under a black-gray robe. "Hey isn't that the guy from the castle?" Annabelle pointed at Ventreus.
"There are a lot of guys in the castle, Belle." The magician corrected but she was not entirely wrong. Before them was indeed the Court Mage himself, Ventreus Allo.
Rielle was the first to greet the Court Mage, regardless of what he felt. "Court Mage Ventreus Allo? Wow, we're meeting a lot of celebrities today aren't we Belle?" The cannibal gave a firm nod as a response.
MEANWHILE
"Alright. Let's see here." Peter, in his usual garments, looked at a list. Both he and Assassin was out shopping rather far from the dormitories. Assassin wondered why but stayed silent like he usually did.
Soon the student, busy looking at his grocery list, bumped into a figure in a ratty old brown cloak. "Oh I'm sorry." Peter immediately apologized. "Should've paid more attention to where I was going. Sorry again."
Assassin only stared at the scene but he had a feeling this cloaked wanderer was more than meets the eye like all cloaked people, including himself.

Lisia saw as both Henry and Sir Allo walked into the Citadel, to her relief. She saw Henry wave at her, and she promptly waved back at the adventurer. Lisia received a greeting from the white magician and decided it would be best to respond in kind. "Yes, I look forward to facing you as well, Ms. Rielle." The duo approached the group, which now included the strange lady and white mage that made the students stand on edge. Anri and Felicie took a moment to examine Henry, a man they had never seen before. They were fascinated by the aura he gave off. It was dark, but not in a bad way like the two women. To them it was a excellent shade of dark magical energy. As dark magic wasn't taught on school grounds, they were quite intrigued by this man. Felicie especially took an interest in the warrior.
"Lisia, who is this man? You never told me that you had such an acquaintance. His aura is....charming. And his eyes are...striking... Tell me sir, who might you be? Since I've never seen you around the city, I take it you're an outsider?" Anri, while also interested in the man's identity, know that this wasn't the time to be flirting. "Felicie, can that wait until later? My apologies sir, my friend can come on a little too strong, especially to strangers who catch her interest." The anxiety that was around the princess had lifted somewhat. With that, she decided it would be best to introduce the man to her friends. "Yes this man is an acquaintance of mine, I've met him only today. His name is Henry Hansees, and he is an outside warrior who will be participating in the tournament this year."
Luke was somewhat shocked that he would meet one of the secret outside competitors for the tournament. It was a fact that the outside participants were kept secret from students. However, they would interact with students, which challenged their wits to see if they could figure out who they were. With that, a thought just hit Luke. "If that's the case, then wouldn't that mean that the other man we saw-" Lisia cutoff Luke mid sentence, as she was well aware by now the meaning of the Ghost's presence here. "Yes Luke, that also means that other man who was talking with Sir Tibrus will also probably be participating in the tournament."
Lisia then turns to Sir Allo to confirm her suspicions. "Do I have that correct, Sir Allo? Also, perhaps you could tell us just how many outside warriors will be participating?

Henry smiled as Felicie approached him, even if Anri stopped her he didn't mind the flirting "ITs fine realle he said giving a smile to Anri and Felicia, he was quite used to it after all, he was going to speak back but was cut off by the princess introducing him to the others, "Ah yes, it is as she said My name is Henry Hansees and I come from a kingdom far away to the west, across the raging sea, so you would be right to think of me as a stranger" he said to them as he looked at them, one was a Jinko, other was a young man and the other a vampire, who just flirted with him, "it is an honor to meet you all" he said bowing his head to them as he then looked at Felicie "and thank you for complimenting my aura and my eyes" he said with a friendly and respectful tone.
He was a bit surprised at the mention of another contestant, "And I thought I was the first to arrive..." he said shrugging as he looked at Allo quen Lisia asked him the question

Tibrus simply gave a nod, agreeing with the sell-swords words about the coin's purpose. Yet when mentioning Seijin- ahh, that's the reason.
"I'm sorry to say lad, but I haven't heard or seen Seijin for the last couple of years. He had returned to Zipangu after helping the previous king accomplish his dream. After that... not a thing." The last part was told with a shrug of the shoulders. After giving the swordsman a moment to digest the info Tibrus pushed himself up from the table.
"If you'll follow me lad, I'll show you where you can register for the tournament. Afterwards, feel free to travel the kingdom for the day."

The figure looked down towards the young boy that bumped into him. The hood conceiled any trace of a face, leaving only a dark shadow to gaze upon the boy. Quickly however, the figure gave a small nod while raising a cloaked hand to give a light pat on the boy's head.
"No harm, no foul." The words were simple, but not dismissive. The voice itself was soft but easily heard despite the crowd around them. That done the figure moved to the side, allowing the boy and his companion to continue on.
"Have a pleasent day." With another nod the cloaked figure began walking once more, moving passed Assassin with easy steps. Soon coming to another crossroads the figure took a left, vanishing from the sight of the pair.
Assassin would find however, that he now held an extra piece of paper in his side pocket. When read it would say: 'Take heed, for the time will come where your skill will be of need. Take heart, for others shall be there to take part.'

After hearing that Tibrus had heard nothing of Akarui whereabouts, the Iaidosai's face remains completely stoic. Although, within he was slightly disappointed that he still had no leads. It would seem that would have to wait to find information for a later time. The swordsman hears the Architect telling him to follow him to where he is to register for the tournament.
"Very well, I suppose we should be off then. If I'm not mistaken, we're going to the Luminous Citadel correct? While on my way to the school I heard around town that it would be the location of the tournament this year." The swordsman may not have to wait very long to obtain the information he seeks. He is aware that the Citadel a very famous site. It is known for recording the feats of the kingdom's most powerful warriors, and with that being the case he may find information on the man's current state of affairs.
The mercenary leaves his seat and walks with the Architect out of the Research facility, now on their way to their next destination.

Zauberheim Royal Palace
------------------------------
In the northern part of the grand city laid a building whose beauty and radiance stood out more than any other. It was an extravagant piece of architecture, its design was only worthy to be regarded as a place of nobility. And that is precisely what it was, the home of the Royal Family, the Royal Palace of Zauberheim. Its beauty appeared to shine with the sunlight, basking in its magnificence. In the throne room, there was a man who was regarded by his people as a hero. One who further united the land and kept the previous king's dream alive and well, having done his utmost to establish peaceful relations with other territories - be they mamono or no. He was regarded as a warrior without peer and a shining example of what every aspiring mage should be. It was of course the great king, Reinhardt von Zauberheim.
----------------------
Throne Room
----------------------
The King sat on his throne, his leg crossed so that it rested on the thigh of the other. He had one hand placed so that his knuckles were slightly pressed against the side of his chin, the other hand rested on the arm of his seat. He looked as though he was waiting for someone, and it seemed he was growing tired of waiting. A little while after, a magic circle appeared in the center of the floor. From it emerged a robed figure, a mage official, who was garbed in traditional royal attire. At this sight, the king rose from his position, as he awaited what the official had to report. "Your Majesty, I have returned." Said the official as he humbly bowed before his ruler.
The King's face remained calm and stagnant as he began to speak. "Well, what have to report? I must say I was growing tired of waiting. Are the ones contracted for the tournament all present within my domain?" The mage looked up at the King as he answered his question. "Yes, we have confirmed that all contracted warriors have arrived in the city since midday. not only that, but two are already in the process of registering for the tournament. Another is now on his way with Sir Tibrus, and the one known as the Cloaked Wanderer is currently on the south road heading north."
The King's face still calm, now had a serene smile on it. "Ah, I see. That's good to hear. I glad they all made hear on time for the festival. So: Ruecian, the Ghost of Arcana - Henry Hansees, the Dark Swordsman - Rielle Leonardo, the White Witch - and the Cloaked Wanderer are all present and accounted for? The mage began to speak again. "Yes my king they've arrived as scheduled, and Ventreus Allo is doing his utmost to see that everything goes as smoothly as possible." "Ah, I see. Tell me, has Sir Booker made contact with the cloaked one yet?" "No sir, he is currently tending to other affairs at the current moment. Shall I send someone else to meet the man?" "That would be most appreciated. I would like for him to register as soon as possible" "Very well, I will see to it post haste, Your Majesty. Is there anything else you require of me?" "Yes, after you have confirmed that all four of them have entered the competition, I request that you have Sir Allo bring them before me. I would like to meet each of them before the competition." "Very well, I will tell gladly tell him. If that is all, by your leave I excuse myself."
With that, the mage vanishes in another magic circle. As quickly as he appeared he disappeared, off to fulfill his rulers wishes. The King then returns to his throne, awaiting the return of Allo and said company.

"That would be most appreciated.

After registering for the tournament, Brandon made his way back to the group. He made glances towards Annabelle and Rielle frequently to make sure he was a good distance away from them. He was glad that Allo and Henry have arrived. He was more at ease with them around, even though he doesn't know Henry at all. But if he's here for participating in the tournament on the king's request, then that must mean that he's strong. However, the same could be said for Rielle. It's possible that she got the king's attention with her abilities and was asked to participate. She could possibly be very dangerous if you pissed her off and by yourself. He definitely need to be cautious around her and Annabelle. Then again, he was right about the tournament being one hell of a ride. He hope he would fight someone other than Rielle. If she's friends with Annabelle, it's obvious that she's the worst opponent to face. He remain silent as the group continue to have their discussion with Allo and Henry. However, he did noticed that Ivadi was somewhat irritated by Felicie's flirting with Henry. Is he jealous? Nah, he's been shy around women throughout the years in Seraph Academy. There's no way he would have developed feelings for a girl this quickly. Then again, Felicie could've interest him for a while now.

Re: Zauberheim - Kingdom of Magic RP
Peter only saw darkness under the cloaked person's hood, much like Assassin's. But unlike Assassin, he was not completely silent. After a pat on the head, the cloaked person said. "No harm, no foul." With that the figure moved aside to allow the two to continue on. "Have a pleasent day." With another nod the cloaked person began walking once more and so did Peter and Assassin in the opposite direction.
"Mysterious person. Kinda like you Assassin." Peter told his hooded companion.
Assassin felt something was up and decided to search his pockets. He soon found a piece of paper that he did not put there. He opened it and read its contents. 'Take heed, for the time will come where your skill will be of need. Take heart, for others shall be there to take part.' While he was amused by the rhymes, Assassin did not like what the paper said. That usually meant something real bad was going to happen and that his work would be cut out for him, especially when he is by himself. He wondered if he should call for help and tried to look for the cloaked wandered but to no avail.
"Hey Assassin, what's that?" Peter broke Assassin's thoughts. The hooded man shrugged at the student and folded the paper before inserting it in the kimono of a passing Youko with her not being the wiser.
"Hey Assassin, do you mind if I... watch the tournament?" Peter asked out of nowhere. "Well you see I might get a few ideas from the fighters."
Assassin raised an eye brow, not that anyone would see, at the question. Normally he would be alright with the spectating but after the receiving the ominous piece of paper, he had to take precautions. He needed to scout the area to find any suitable escape routes just in case crap hits the fan. The hooded man faced Peter and took a glance at his surroundings.
"Oh you're asking where. The tournament's gonna be held in the Luminous Citadel." Peter answered.
Assassin gave a nod before pointing at Peter then at the direction of the dormitories. He then left for the Luminous Citadel leaving Peter wondering what Assassin tried to say.

Felicie listened as Henry spoke about his homeland Heide, a nation far across the seas. Before she started to respond to the adventurer, the vampire heiress noticed that Ivadi was glaring at her. His eyes seemed to be filled with what one would call jealousy. She also noticed the slight groan he uttered out in response to her interest with Henry. Of course, Felicie simply took this as another opportunity to tease the young student. "Oh Ivadi, don't tell me you're jealous. That's so adorable~ Oh don't worry, you'll be getting my full attention once I defeat you this year - I promise. Besides, one can't help but...admire such a beautifully dark aura."
Anri, who had also taken somewhat of an interest in the adventurer, began to ask him questions about the kingdom he hails from. "Tell me about this Heide place, I haven't heard much about it. And there aren't too many things that I don't hear about." Felicie, her attention now shifted back to Henry, also wants to know more about him. "Yes Sir Henry, do tell us more about yourself, we'd be willing to listen~"
The Princess simply rolled her eyes at how Felicie, and even Anri somewhat, were swooning over the man she had met at the academy not too long ago. "Sir Hansees I'm terribly sorry about my friends, they can be a little...nosy sometimes. Will the both of you leave the man be so he can conduct his business?" The Princess wanted them to let the man be, but she also noticed that Felicie's actions were upsetting Ivadi.
Anri turned to the Princess and stared at her for a moment. She then shrugged as she blushed out of embarrassment. Felicie simply glared at Lisia, her face filled with irritation.

Ivadi was already a little irritated by the fact that Felice was practically swooning over the man. the glare was not aimed towards the mane from Heide at all but towards her. but what she said really ticked him off "Oh Ivadi, don't tell me your jealous. That's so adorable~ Oh don't worry, you'll be getting my full attention once I defeat you this year - I promise. Besides, one can't help but...admire such a beautifully dark aura." , THAT ticked him off "GrrrrAAAHHHH!!!!" he soon lost control of his temper now as he forgot to hinder his own magical energy now. the power coming from him was large, more large than any he had shown throughout the academy. it had the potential to easily rival the princess's magical power "Then maybe HE should be your servant then!" he said clearly pissed. he now looked at Felice with an icy cold stare, far from his usual meek appearance "Even IF you lose to me, you don't have to worry about being my assistant." he said before he calmed down and reduced his magical energy. he simply turned around and waked off to purchase a drink in the citadel "Uggh....damn that idiot! is she trying to get servants or her own fucking harem?!" he said as he vented out his frustrations by himself

Henry simply smiled an amused smile at all that transpired with his arrival, he noticed Ivadi and saw Felicie teasing him, kind of reminded him of his sisters back at his home, 'things are certainly lively' he thought, he then heard Felicie's question about his hometown, before he could answer however the princess intervened and told them to stop, apologizing to him, which made him smile as he found it a bit funny honestly.
"Oh its fine princess, and please call me Henry, in my hometown there is no bigger sign of respect than to say someone's first name, that way you recognize the individual as a person and respect the person as they are, so I would appreciate if you could refer to me by my first name Lisia" he said to her giving a smile "and don't worry, im quite used to it" he said as he then turned to Felicie and Anri seeing them stare at Lisia for a moment made him frown for a moment "So as for your question, well it is known to be a kingdom with extreme militaristic strenght and magic, although we value more swordsmanship and battle tactics than magic, it is still one very well developed school in it, we have fought many wars, specially against the order when they tried to force their ideals upon us...in short, we won, I am the Hansees family, a very well known family that has a big force on the military, as my father and his ancestors have been generals" he said to them, always with a polite and friendly tone in his voice as he said it
"So now why not tell me abou-" he was quickly cut off by Ivadi's outburst, which made him generate some dark energy as well, quickly building up to the same amount Ivadi's outburst was able to show, his eyes started to glow a bright purple color as well as he stared at Ivadi, but seeing him calm down made Henry vent the rest of his energy, making it dissipate. He then looked back at them "maybe you shouldn't have teased him" he said

If you think of me as nothing more than a mere wanderer...you are trully mistaken, because I can destroy the very fabric of your being with the power bestowed upon me.
Where there is a question there is an answer, where there is an option there is another, my path is mine alone to make.
Death? I have gotten used to it, for I cannot die...I come back every time.

Re: Zauberheim - Kingdom of Magic RP
The two Orderites only observed the conversation. They were a little envious that the students were more lively in talking to the new arrivals than to them but what they have seen compensated for that. The arrival besides Ventreus was apparently named Henry Hansees and he came from a militaristic country called Heide who went to war many times according to him. This interested Rielle for war brought suffering and despair and also the magic Henry seemed to be using was dark magic. However, Rielle could sense pure intentions from Henry and to her that was a great joke with a lame punchline.
Soon the Vampire teased the one called Ivadi for jealousy who flew into rage and walked into the Citadel. "Wow. That one's energetic." Annabelle commented.
"Yeah. He seems to be easily controlled by his emotions." Rielle made another.
"So tell me Henry Hansees, how many lives have you taken in glorious battle?" Rielle asked out of nowhere. Her companion made a mental face palm for what she said earlier about being controlled by emotions.

"Hm?" he turned around to see Rielle asking him that question, it surprised him because it was a pretty sudden one, he scratched the back of his head for a moment, he could feel menacing auras coming from both Rielle and Annabelle, he had been cautious about them the moment he arrived, but now he had to speak to them.
"I never fought in a war, my kingdom seens to be in a era of peace at the moment and it still lasts after 30 years, and I don't think talking about how many lives each one of us has taken is the optimal topic for conversation in the middle of a citadel that is no doubt a landmark and is also tightly guarded, so I can't exactly answer your question at the moment, but if you wish to know I have taken lives, although not without putting thought into the action." he said with a serious tone to her before frowning, asking a question like that in public could cause a lot.

Felicie and Anri listened as Henry the adventurer explained his background and the overview of his home country. According to Henry, Heide was a nation famed for its military prowess. And like Zauberheim, Heide also partook in the practice of magic. Though, Heide supposedly focused more on weaponry tactics than magical power. Nonetheless, it was still interesting to the two mamono all the same. Anri and Felicie were about to ask the man more questions until they noticed a strange rise in Ivadi's magical signature. The rise was shockingly high, especially coming from the young mage. While he was the son of the Archmage who assisted King Reinhardt during the Lost Daemon Crusades, it was never more apparent than it was now.
Felicie turned to Ivadi in surprise, seeing the cold rage he had in his eyes. "Ivadi, what in Lescatie's name is -" Her sentence was cut short as Ivadi made an outburst about how she should make Henry her servant instead and how she didn't have to worry about becoming his assistant, even if she does lose to him in the tournament. She then watched, stupefied, as he walked off to vent his rage. Anri and Lisia, who were at first shocked by Ivadi's sudden display of anger, now turn to Felicie with angry faces of their own. Luke only looks on at the scene with a concerned expression. Felicie has an expression of timid bewilderment upon her face as she receives displeased looks from her fellow student council members. Even Henry was rather disappointed in the vampire's actions, which further served to strengthen the shame she was feeling right now.
"What, why are you looking at me? You don't think that I'm the one at fault, do you? Ivadi's just too sensitive, he should learn to -" Felicie's words were cut off by the piercing glare she was receiving from Anri. The jinko was used to her vampire friend's antics, having known her since childhood. This time however, she took it too far, even if Ivadi was being a little sensitive. "You can be very dense sometimes, you know that? Did you even once try to put Ivadi's feelings into consideration? He may have had genuine feelings and you just spat on them with your words." Felicie continued to look on with a bewildered face, as she had no idea that the mage had actual feelings for her. She often toyed around with the boy, teasing and flirting with him. She would always move on to someone else, however. She never did stop to think if he was really interested in a relationship.
Lisia decided to also add her input. "I agree with Anri's statement, you've should have been more conscious of Ivadi's feelings. Right now I'm ashamed to think of you as a student council member, your behavior had been extremely childish. As president, I demand that you go sort things out with the boy this instant." At this point it seemed that both Lisia and Anri were fed up with Felicie's behavior, what with her constantly throwing herself at every man that strikes her fancy. Mamono she may be, but she also has responsibilities and etiquette she must adhere to. She is after all a member of the Seraph student council and heir to one of the ruling families. Felicie hated the situation she currently in, she had been scolded by Henry and reprimanded by her peers all at once. She didn't even know how to respond at this point.
"But I...I.." The gazes she received prevent her from retorting further. It would seem that she would have no choice but to go and sort things out with the boy. "A..Alright fine, I'll go talk to him. Really, I don't see what the problem is..." With a huff, Felicie goes in the direction Ivadi walked off to, hoping to smooth things over with the student mage.
Anri, Lisia, and Luke watch as the vampire goes off. They then turn to the adventurer and Sir Allo who witnessed the entire ordeal. They all bow their heads in order to apologize for the events that have transpired. "Forgive this outburst Sir Allo, Sir Henry. This reflects on the entire council, and it ruins our image." After they apologize they notice that Rielle asks Henry a question about how many people he's killed. A strange question, but one they would expect from someone like her.

Felicie catches up to Ivadi, who was buying a drink from one of the vendors. He face was still writhed in anger. She slowly approaches him, as she tries to make amends. "...Ivadi, do you mind if we...talk, for a bit? There are some things that I wish to discuss with you."

Ivadi sighs as he drank the sweet drink he received from the vendor. he had always liked sweet things. they were his favorite treat. he leaned against the wall to drink and calm down. however, when he saw Felicie approach again his face turned into a mixture of anger and irritation "...Ivadi, do you mind if we...talk, for a bit? There are some things that I wish to discuss with you." she said as Ivadi raised an eyebrow he was skeptical as to what she wanted to talk to him about ".........despite my better judgement......I'll lend you an ear Felicie. do you wish to talk in pubic or private?" he asked as even through his anger he won't make her do anything ridiculous.

Henry witnessing them all scolding Felicie couldn't help but make him remember him scolding his little sister for her pranks back at his home, he was quite used to confusings and small conflicts happening between the family members and friends. he saw them bowing and apologizing but he really didn't mind, "I wouldn't say it would ruin the image of the council, this is but a personall matter with one of the members of the council, it would ruin its image if you all were responsible for said outcome, but im sure this matter will get settled quickly, believe me i've seen worse with my brothers and sisters" he said shrugging as he looked at them.

Setting an easy walking pace Tibrus gave a nod.
"Aye, and for the time being you are free to venture the Citadel bar any of the restricted areas until 8PM the day before the tournament. Reason for that is to give our mages time for one last look of scrutiny over the area, double checking the wards and barriers to see if they were set up properly, the usual fair." Coming to the doors leading outside Tibrus led the mercenary out.
The walk was a quiet one with little distractions. Once they had crossed into the courtyard the pair felt a surge of mana from within the building, accompanied by a dark surge of equal power. Soon after however the surge faded to nothing, replaced once more with calm. Giving his companion a side glance Tibrus marched towards the entrance and opened the door. There he found the Princess and her council, Sir Allo along with others. And stomping away from the group was young Ivadi. His lips pursed, while breathing a sigh through his nose, the looked at the merc as the event continued on.
"I don't know what in blazes just happened but I'm sure I'll find out soon enough. Over there is the notebook to sign in. Just make sure to place your coin on the page first before signing your name. Now, if you'll excuse me, there are some things I need to tend to." With a curt but respectful nod Tibrus ventured down the hall, following after bot young Ivadi and Felicie. Seeing the vampire approach first Tibrus decided to wait it out and see how things progressed.

After turning a left at that fork the figure had made easy time up the street. Reflecting on the weather the figure felt it was pretty nice after that great downpour. Attention was diverted as a great rise of power came from the right, but before it could be investigated the figure was approached but what looked like a young mage.
"Excuse me sir, but might you be the Cloaked Wanderer?" The boy was young, likely a month off from 20 and was adorned in the royal robes of the castle. Likely a graduate from recent years working directly for the King or his council.
"Perhaps." A whisper intoned. "How might you know I am the one you search for?"
"I was only told you would be holding the Moon coin and to find you I just sense out the coin." My the boy was quick to give information. Still young indeed.
"I see. Then this would be proof then." With a little ruffling of sleeves the figure held out a cloaked arm. Placed in the covered palm was a large coin of silver, rimmed in gold. The centre featured the image of a crescent moon. The young mage was quick to nod.
"Yes, that's it exactly! Now if you'll allow me I will teleport us to his Majesty the King's throne room." The figure hid the coin once more before shaking his head.
"I would prefer to walk if it is all the same to you. The day is beautiful after a large storm is it not. Best not to waste it." Without another word the figure turned back down the road, leaving a flabbergasted young mage who was quick to regain his composure.
"W-Wait up! I'll lead you there!... This is just not my day." With that the young mage quickly jogged up to the Cloaked Wanderer, matching pace before leading him towards the castle...

"I see, 8PM the day before the competition. I'll keep that in mind until then." The mercenary followed the man out of the Research facility and into the city streets. As the sun was shining brightly in the sky the mercenary had since rid himself of his cloak, revealing his attire under it. He wore a black jacket that went to his knees along with a robe-like shirt. He had black pants along with slim boots. He had armor that covered his chest and the lower portion of his legs. his armor shone a vivid blue as he walked. Any person who was cultured enough could tell the mercenary's attire was reminiscent of Zipangu-style clothing. They eventually made their way to the Citadel's courtyard before something caught their attention.
The mercenary felt a sudden rise in a magical signature he recognized as Ivadi's. The energy being given off was rather violent, which signified that the boy may have been angered in some way. Wasting no time he, along with Sir Tibrus, made his way into the building. There he found many faces, some he seen before and some he hadn't. He saw the student council, Ventreus Allo, the young Brandon, three other people he didn't know, and Ivadi storming off down the hall. Tibrus gave the mercenary a few words of direction before heading off in the direction Ivadi went. The mercenary also noticed Felicie the vampire going off to Ivadi as well.
The mercenary decides to make his way to the group before registering, so as to asset the situation. Plus, the three other people he hadn't seem before were giving off readings of magical energy that caught the mercenary's attention. Two of them were a duo of women, both of them rather busty. One woman wore white magician clothing, though contrary to her wardrobe her aura was....sinister somehow. The same went for the other young lady, who had blonde hair and dawned an elegant dress. The mercenary knew immediately he would have to be on guard around them. As for the third person it was a man who had the appearance of a wandering warrior, much like the mercenary himself. The mercenary noticed hex magic emanating from the man, as he was the other presence he felt go up suddenly. The students turn to see the swordsman they were acquainted with earlier walking near them.
Lisia speaks first. "Ah, Mr. Mercenary, I see you've finally come as well. Came with Sir Tibrus no doubt. I've been meaning to apologize for acting so hostile towards you. If my mentors and father trust you, then so do I." Lisia gives a warm smile to the mercenary as she speaks. Luke looks at the Princess with a perplexed expression. "Uh, 'Mr. Mercenary'? Is that what you've decided to call him?" Anri gave a small chuckle at the name Lisia gave. "It can't really be helped Luke. After all, the guy never gave us his actual name."
The mercenary gave a small sigh before responding. It's alright, it's no trouble. I suppose I didn't formally introduce myself, huh? Fair enough, I suppose it would be rude to do so, especially considering you're a princess and all. My name is Ruecian, a traveling swordsman who makes a living by doing mercenary work. I am known as the Ghost of Arcana by some. At that Ruecian finally gave his name, something he had kept hidden
his whole time in the kingdom thus far. Well, more like he never really found a need to say it.
Anri's ears perked at the man's introduction. "Wait, I know that name. My family in Zipangu talk about it here and there. You're supposed to a skilled professional and a peerless swordsman. You had another name too. What was it....'Iaidosai no Mizuchi?' Lisia and Luke looked at the jinko with curious eyes. They didn't expect her to suddenly know so much about the man, who up until this point was shrouded in mystery.
The swordsman was also surprised but he had higher concerns. He turned his attention to the three others he didn't know. "Now that I'm done with my introduction, why don't we talk about you three. You all have peculiar auras, especially you there with the hex signature. Also, how about you tell me what happened with Ivadi? I noticed that you rose you magical power in response to his, matching it with little effort. Mind telling me what happened?" The swordsman had a cold and stern look on his face as he inquired about the events that transpired earlier. He was also still mindful of the two women present.

Felicie began to nervously speak, still wary of her current predicament with her peers. "I...I just wanted to say that perhaps my actions earlier were a bit...uncouth..." Felicie was struggling with her apology. After all, she was one that never thought she was the one to blame in any situation. "If it pleases you, would you like to....make amends?"

There is nothing more beautiful than a warrior with no distractions. One could say he is the closest thing to God
