And OH GOD VENTS, and there is now only one door? what? and what the hell was that about the guy putting on a costume?! the hell is going on here?! and that Fox dive tackle, he should participate in the football league at that point
and whats that about no doors? what the hell do you mean you can't close that big door there? do you use the freddy mask instead? what the hell do you do to prevent Foxy tackling you? do you counter it with solid snake's CQC? im so confused

In the original Five Nights, the machines saw you as an endoskeleton without its suit on. That's why they stuff you into one if they catch you. The mask is likely to fool the old dismantled models.
As for the new models, we have no idea what they're about now. I do think it's awesome that they're paying homage to the first game. The old models are like veterans now that we've come to love.

Can't wait for it!
There are those who would scorn good-natured people. Even if God himself will
not show his face, a heartful person will one day take God's place in

You too huh?
Yup, and add the fact that my sister used to manage a "costume/suit/motley show" (are those the correct words?) and she left a Santa Costume (which looks like a damn, zombie santa) and two deers that looks a bit like foxy...stored in the closet next to my room...
(Want Pictures? )

Don't know about you guys but I didn't find the game too scary, and I am quite used to tense atmospheres and extrem shortage on power (ammo and the like) so I know how to manage my inventory.
what game I played that taught me? the Fatal frame series -_- those and games like slender taught me to predict jumpscares

What I don't understand is why you can't just shut the doors and turn the power off... nothing says (that I know of) they can get through the doors, AND, closed doors really shouldn't be able to drain power... logic...

Common sense and logic would ruin all horror games scary factor, oh a fricking robot wants to murder me, alright I'll just get my shotgun real quick hold up a sec *loud bang* there got Foxy!
see? if I was in the five nights at freddy's i'd bring a shotgun with me, it might not be much help but still.

Don't quote me on this, but I believe the doors are powered by magnets or some kind of electronic circuit. This would explain why using them consumes power and why they don't work when you run out of power.
There is nothing more beautiful than a warrior with no distractions. One could say he is the closest thing to God

It's a safety feature. The doors automatically open when power runs out so people inside won't get trapped.
Oh... then just find a way to keep them down. I mean, once the doors are down, I don't think they need power to stay down. I mean, I've seen the doors; they really don't need power to stay locked.

it's probably a failsafe built into the doors in case of an outage to prevent someone from being locked in for an extremely long period of time, or locked out if the fusebox is located in the security room.
I mean would you want to try and lift a what...what are we looking at 100 pounds or 50...(how much would a door like that weigh)steel door just to reset a breaker cause I as sure don't want to.
Haters gonna hate, hatters gonna hat, potatoes gonna potate.......I have no clue where I'm going with this.
According to the 5NAF wiki.. the following is stated: It could be that the door is locked via electromagnets, and is opened by a counterweight. This would explain why the doors automatically open when power to the doors is lost. This is a mechanism used in the real world to keep employees from being trapped inside a building during power failures.
