Brandon jumped out of his seat and face the intruder in his home. To his shock, it's the same cloaked figure from the shopping district that he had encountered when facing Word Play. "The hell are you doing in my room?!", he demanded from the cloaked figure. He got his answer when he was told that the princess is in danger and needs his help. "Fine, I'll help. It's not like I can just say no. Also, I'll be sure to install something at the door where you don't need to appear in my room like you did.", he muttered. "Alright, do your portal thing and take me to where ever.", he said to the cloaked figure.

Jonathan remain calm with years of professionalism, while Dalia snapped back into attention when the king's outburst was made. Jonathan noted the princess's state and can conclude that she's suffering from a psychological experience. Most likely that Word Play had just recently bind her to his will.

"Yes, well, from what I can observe about your daughter is that she has just recently had a psychological experience. She'll be fine in both physically and mentally when given the time to rest. Though I assume that Word Play had bind her to his will. I don't doubt that he'll add another effect to his spell to ensure that he survive. We can learn what he had done to your daughter by simply asking her. When he uses a name of a person in his spell, that person will lose consciousness for a short period of time. During that black out, they will experience a vision that involves Word Play. Usually those visions will have details of the effects in the spell.", Jonathan explained.

Dalia chose this time to speak since she remained silent for too long to her liking. "Princess, did you have a vision? If you did, what was it about?", she asked the young princess.

Alexander smiled at Rue's response, it seemed like the three of them were ready to kill this man, but the king and the order gave orders to aprehend him, which he knew was a horrible idea, "Great, seems like we all agree on it, although we'd have to make a convincing lie to the king, because I assume he wants him captured and interrogated?" he asked a question he already knew the answer "Alright, so what plan do you two have to find him?" he asked them

Henry was sitting around in the steps that connected the citadel to the main road, he was sitting there with Brandon's invention by his side sitting down, he was waiting for the wanderer to show up with Brandon..."Maybe he can sense my aura from here...well i could start generating dark energy but it would alert the guards...I just hope he finds me here" he said

Alexander revealed that with a full name, Word Play can fully control the person possessing that name. That fact interested Rielle, a magic that completely bends the will of a person would be most useful to the White Witch's goals.

With that revealed, Ruecian asked Rielle what the next course of action was while Alexander asked an already answered question. The White Witch first turned to Alex. "Arcana man here sensed a magic spike which is probably Word Play." She then turned to Ruecian. "Well first we need to make our way to where Wordy is..." She looked at one of the windows which showed a night sky.

"You know, I like ambushes. Hey Arcana man, you can hide your magic aura right? If Wordy can't detect you, you can stab him in the back while I bait him." Rielle relayed her simple plan then turned to Alexander. "Alex was it? If you can hide your magic aura too, you can join Jap in the backstabbing. Otherwise, you can join me in distracting Word Play."

"So gentlemen, what do you think?"

The figure gave a nod before placing a firm hand on Brandon's shoulder. Snapping his fingers again another portal appeared before the pair, where the figure led the boy through.

"This won't take long." His words were to help ease the boy of any nervousness he might have, they were walking into what looked like the void after all.

Passing through the portal closed behind them and for a second all Brandon could see was nothing, just a pitch black expanse of space that gave no sense of direction. There were no ambient sounds, just that of the boy's breathing and the soft fall of the pair's footsteps. Before the boy could feel any more disorientation, light appeared from another portal before them. Stepping through the pair would find themselves standing before Henry and the boy's invention. The portal closed behind them soon after.

"Take a moment to breathe, the disorientation will pass soon." He kept his hand on the boy's shoulder to keep him as steady as he needed. Turning to Henry he spoke quickly.

"We need to move fast, I sensed a spike that could have only been WordPlay casting a spell of sorts. He's to the South of here but we'll still need the dog to find the exact building he's hiding in." His cloaked head turned in the direction of the castle a moment before turning back to Henry.

"A quick question before we head off. Will you help me apprehend WordPlay or will you kill him?" His voice spoke of genuine curiosity, no sense of tension at all.

Castle - Throne Room

Tibrus, while silently miffed at having his question ignored, still drew to attention when another official appeared bearing ill news of the Princess. He didn't flinch at the King's outburst for he too felt a sense of anger and dread for the Princess' safety. Being a father himself he knew what the King was feeling.

He might not have been a soldier but his age didn't stop him from taking off his jacket and rolling it up into a bundle as the King grabbed his daughter from the official. He waited until after this Jonathan had spoken before addressing the King.

"My King, lying her down should help her state some. If what this man said is true, her current state is only temporary and will pass with a little time. What we can do right now is make her as comfortable as possible to help recover faster." The Architect's voice was strong but calm, something Tibrus felt would help centre his King and get him focused again.

"I'll help you distract him, Rue has a better chance of surprising him since he'll be focusing on both of us" Alexander said to them with a calm tone of voice, "but be careful, no doubt he has made some traps for pursuers as well" he said

"You felt it too" Henry said, he didn't even look at the portal when it opened, he wasn't really surprised at it, "Well lets go then, brandon is it? I believe this is yours" he said motioning and glancing at the invention as he then heard the Wanderer ask him a question, "It will depend, if we capture him what are the odds of him escaping and continue whatever it is that he does, I will help you capture him, but if things go out of control..." he simply glanced at his sword on his sheath before turning to Brandon "Lets get going then" he said

The figure gave a nod of his hooded head. "I understand. If all plays out well he will be detained and he won't be able to escape afterwards. Unfortunately there might be a chance that we may not bring harm to him at this time." He looked towards Brandon whose shoulder he still held.

"Do remind me, but what was that man trying to do to the Princess earlier? What was he trying to obtain?"

Brandon turn and look at the cloaked figure when he asked what Word Play wanted with the princess. "I don't know, he wanted to know the names of those two women. You know, from The Order.", Brandon answered before turning to his mechanical hound. "Anyway, I can send my dog to look for that guy and I can tell you where he's at.", he suggested as he pulls out his Information Catalog, "I can track my dog through this and we'll know where that masked bastard is in a matter of seconds.", he stated. "We should get anyone involved in the investigation back at the castle and plan on how you're going to capture him while not doing anything that is considered stupid when you do. For all we know, he cast another one of his shitty spells to make sure you don't touch him or something.", he added.

Jonathan explains that Lisia has likely been affected by one of Word Play's spells, which would be the cause of her fatigue. The siblings then ask the princess what she saw after she blacked out, as the effects of the spell often involve such. In addition, the victim apparently witnesses a vision of the assailant in some way.

"Ngh.....uh...Fa..Father?" Lisia looks to find that she is in her father's arms, the latter having a greatly concerned expression. "My daughter, was has happened to you? Please, tell us what you saw." Reinhardt urges his daughter to divulge what she saw in her vision. The princess looks around the room to she Tibrus, who suggests that they ensure Lisia is as comfortable as possible. She then sees two individuals, a man and a woman, who have the look of officials standing in the room as well.

"Father, who are these two?" Lisia makes an inquiry of their identity, as she heard the questions they posed to her. "They are representatives of the Mamono Party. They know of Word Play and wish to lend their assistance in the investigation. Please, speak. Tell us what happened." As he spoke, he laid Lisia down on the jacket provided by the Architect.

"I...I saw Word Play in an empty space. He just...appeared out of nowhere. He grabbed me by the neck and started to choke me. I couldn't breath and I thought that I..." The princess turns her head to the side to hide her anguish before she speaks again. "Then he whispered something in my ear. I think he said something akin to 'My words are absolute. We are one and I am your master.'."

The official turns to the king after hearing the princess speak. "Your Majesty, given the current state of affairs perhaps it would to be wise to rethink the entire scheme of the investigation. If what this man says is true, then we can't afford to put the princess's life in jeopardy." The king turns to the official, still angered by the situation.

"I am well aware of the nature of the current situation, you fool. It disgusts me to think that my daughter is at the mercy of some sociopathic Anti-orderite mongrel. To hell with mere imprisonment and a trial, I will have his damned head for this!!" At that point, the king radiated a malice-filled aura. The feel of it was frighteningly vicious, and it enveloped the king in a brilliant green light.

The official was noticeably intimidated by the king's rage. However, he then noticed the emblem the princess had wore on her chest, the crest of the Royal Family. "Your Majesty, that emblem your daughter has. Perhaps..."

Ruecian listens to Rielle's plan of attack. While it does sound somewhat effective, caution was needed. "I'm not sure that's wise, Ms. Rielle. Given what I sensed and what Alexander has said, there is a good chance that the princess's life is in imminent danger." At that statement, the merc sensed a powerful outburst of energy coming from the throne room. It was one of the most powerful auras he had ever felt in his life, and even then he could tell in was only a fraction of its full potential.

"You all felt that? It seems something has happened to greatly displease the king. We'd best devise another course of action. The stone that Henry lent to me earlier comes to mind."

The vampire begins to blush awkwardly as she begins to say something. " You know Ivadi, I wouldn't mind....going to your house. Sure, it's in a backwater sea of trees but it sounds nice. Perhaps I could see what it is you study so religiously. I'll admit, you've got me a little curious."

Felicie kept her head turned to the side to hide her bashfulness. "Well, aren't you going to say something, servant?"

Felicie then turned her head to the side as she started to speak " You know Ivadi, I wouldn't mind....going to your house. Sure, it's in a backwater sea of trees but it sounds nice. I'll admit, you've got me a little curious." she said with a blush as Ivadi was a little surprised, this is the first time someone let alone a woman wanted to come to his house. "Well, aren't you going to say something, servant?" she added as Ivadi blushed "Wow....I never expected you'd skip going to my dorm room and head straight for my home....well...sure we can but you don't mind if my mother and father are there do you?" he asked

Is calm after the king's outburst, Jonathan was about to tell the king what he believe the spell may have been when the official began to speak. He decided to cut him off as Jonathan believes that what he has to say is more important. "Your Majesty, I do not think it is wise to kill Word Play when he had cast his spell on the princess. If my assumption is correct, harming Word Play will result in the princess being harmed herself. When she said that 'we are one' that suggest that he has physically linked himself with your daughter. Anything done on Word Play will mirror on your daughter and will put her in greater danger. I believe it is wise if we plan on how we can capture Word Play alive. Worst case scenario is that one of your investigators kills Word Play and the princess will die as a result of his spell. In short, he's guaranteed his survival, though not his freedom.", Jonathan stated.

Jonathan then turn to face Tibrus, "If I recall, you asked me how my sister and I became immune to his bind spells, correct? I'll answer your question now is case you want to consider my method of removing the spell that Word Play has casted.", he suggested before elaborating, "You see, I'm a blood mage. An individual who use blood as a medium to cast spells. When my sister and I were binded by Word Play, we were compelled to murder. However, I cast another spell that made us immune before he would do anything that we may have regretted. In a way, I enchanted out blood to make us immune. Though, the process was... traumatizing. When I performed the spell onto my sister and I, we experienced excruciating pain where several of our blood vessels and organs burst. We would've died if we didn't have an ability to keep us alive. I have an accelerated healing factor while my sister's body adapted to the situation and kept her alive. I could perform the spell on your daughter, though unless your daughter has an ability that will do everything it can to keep her alive, I cannot guarantee your daughter's survival. I could divide my attention on casting two spells on her, both enchanting her blood. One spell to make her immune to binding spells and another to accelerate her healing factor but I do not advise that option since I could accidentally destroy all of her organs to the point I can't save her without her experiencing anymore trauma.", Jonathan concluded before he turn his attention on the official.

"You were about to say something, sir?", Jonathan asked while feigning ignorance.

"Yeah, do you have a better option?", Dalia joined in.

Meanwhile, as everyone were doing their own business, Word Play is hard at work writing several sentences on the walls of the storage facility that he was in. Mostly as defense measures should anyone try to confront while he's still weak.

"Any enemy of the writer of these words shall be struck down by the heavens should they enter step within 10 meters of this facility.", a spell that will cause lightning to strike down from the sky and onto the target(s). It's a continuous spell that will continue to cause lightning until the enemies are dead.

"Silence is a virtue, no sound will be made within the facility.", a spell that nullifies sound, it's a counter-measure should that witch come for him.

"No one shall force their ways into this facility, only those who enter without haste are allowed.", a cruel spell should anyone try to force their way in. They can only enter calmly and without trying to force the door open.

Word Play hums as he continue to write more sentences on the wall in preparation for any confrontation in the future. He just might make this place as his base.

Henry nodded at Brandon as he motioned for him to get the dog "he's all yours, and I wouldn't worry about the others too much, Rue or Rielle probably have something on their sleeves already...and if Word play tries anything when we find him" he said grabbing his D.N stone which was connected to a small string to hold it up as a pendant of sorts, "This will nullify whatever he throws at us" he said with a smirk.

"Maybe Word play made the puppet spell on his daughter already..." he said giving a hint to Rue and Rielle as he then heard Rue talking about Henry and his magical stone "Excuse me, is this Henry you are talking about Henry Hansees? hmm, i've met him once, and that stone can definitely be of help nullifying whatever word play writes, at least temporarily" he said "Anyways whats your plan Rue?"

Alexander approved of the plan and said he would join Rielle in distracting Word Play. Though he advised caution for the extremist may have traps for them. "Well that's why we're bait right?" The White Witch said.

However, Ruecian objected as he believed that the princess was in danger due to what Alexander said and the magic spike from the vicinity. Right after, an outburst of energy so powerful even Rielle had to sense it came out of the throne room. The White Witch knew whom the energy belonged to but she did not expect him to be that powerful. Obviously, facing him head-on would be suicidal. He must either be dealt with stealthily or to make him an ally and with the way things are currently, it seemed the latter was going to happen.

"You all felt that? It seems something has happened to greatly displease the king. We'd best devise another course of action. The stone that Henry lent to me earlier comes to mind."

...Ruecian said.

Alexander then added that Word Play may be in control of the princess already, which would mean something had Rielle cared. Alex then recognized the name 'Henry' and agreed that the aforementioned stone would be useful.

"Anyways whats your plan Rue?"

...Alexander asked.

"Yeah, Arcana man. Lay it on us before a certain somebody goes apes***." Rielle added.

The official, now being questioned by the representatives, walked closer to the princess and made a gesture toward the emblem on her chest.

"I was making a statement about this pendant earlier. If you look at it, it appears to be nothing more than a trinket that symbolizes the Zauberheim Royal Family. However, it actually serves another purpose. It is a charm of sorts, that protects the wearer from magical ailments. The stone that does this is housed within the pendant itself. However, it appears that for whatever reason the stone has lost its power. hence why it couldn't protect the princess at critical moments. Perhaps we could free the princess from the spell if we were able to restore the gem's power. I believe protective could be enchanted into it if we take it to the R&D facility. Also the process wouldn't put the princess's life in any danger."

The king looked at the pendant his daughter wore, who was now resting beside him. He also noticed that the pendant had lost it's power, a fact that visibly displeased the king. "I could've sworn I told her to replenish this gem as soon as possible. It seems she forgot to do so while preparing for the festival." The king then stands as he takes the pendant. "I will replenish the gem. It will take a little bit of time. Tibrus, for the time being I place my daughter in your care."

Reinhardt looks toward the hooded official as he begins to leave the room. "As for you, inform the investigation teams they are not to direct engage the assailant until I my word is made clear. They are to track him down, but not to engage. Understood?" The hooded official bowed in respect of the kings wishes. "As you command, my king." With that, the agent vanishes without a trace.

The king turns to the siblings. "If either of you have anymore suggestions, I would like to hear them now. Any help you can give will be most appreciated."

Ruecian remains silent at the questions posed to him by Rielle and Alexander. Soon after, the king's agent appears before them. "The king has issued new orders. Due to the safety of the crowned princess being in jeopardy, all investigation teams are to find Word Play's whereabouts but not to engage him directly." The official soon vanished after that.

"What a coincidence, I was just thinking the same thing. I figured the masked one did something to the princess, he's getting desperate. Finding him is of the utmost importance. And yes, I was speaking of Henry Hansees, his stone will help things go smoother. Sound good to you, Ms. Rielle?"

"Oh I'm sure that won't be a problem. They'll be honored to have such an esteemed member of the realm visiting their little humble abode. Your parents and I will get along nicely, unless they're prudes or something." Felicie said as she began placing her hand on Ivadi's chin, gently stroking it.

Jonathan hummed as he think about anything he could say. "If you're going to release her of her binding, then I'll should have you know that Word Play will be aware of what you're doing. He may use more extreme methods to ensure that he'll have leverage over you.", he stated, "I can't really stop you so you may proceed with your method. For now, you may dismiss us or we can remain here and assist you in any other way.", Jonathan finished.

"What? Why can't we just leave now? I got a grudge to settle with him!", Dalia stated as she was angered at Jonathan's suggestion of staying. Though, she is aware that they are to assist Word Play from time to time, she still want to finish a battle that actually has a victor. Jonathan always stops her when she fought Word Play so they never had finished a fight with each other.

"Simple, should we remain, the investigation could reassemble and we can give them information on how to deal with Word Play. Though, now that I think about it, that official could do that on his own but we need to give him the information for him to spread.", Jonathan replied. He later has an idea, "If you want, Your Highness, I can create a charm for your daughter to use. Should the pendant might not be enough, the charm combined with the pendant will increase the chance of removing Word Play's spell.", Jonathan suggested to the king. Though, he plans on actually to use the charm to increase his trust with the king with a different effect from the charm.

"Oh I'm sure that won't be a problem. They'll be honored to have such an esteemed member of the realm visiting their little humble abode. Your parents and I will get along nicely, unless they're prudes or something." Felicie said as she placed her hand on Ivadis chin to stroke it gently causing him to blush "O-ok then....we can see them immediately if you wish." he said as he held up a large pure red wing. it is a somewhat rare item used for long distance travel. an enchant is placed on it to allow the user and a close proximity of friends to instantly transport themselves to the destination that was set on the feather prior.

"Not engage?!" Alex said right after the official vanished,"If we don't do something who knows what he'll do...the more time this man spends free the more orderites are killed and more chaos he spreads" he said sighing in annoyiance "If he has control over the Princess...then he wants only one thing...leverage...complete immunity from the kingdom...what do we do now? go on with our orders and find him?" he asked, he was clearly annoyied at the position they were in, "That stone Henry has does come to mind indeed, its probably...our most effective weapon against wordplay aside from common sense with the words he writes" he said

Before Ruecian answered, an agent of the kingdom appeared before them. He said that the king ordered not to engage Word Play, simply locate him. Ruecian agreed with the order but Alexander was less than pleased while Rielle was neutral though she was somewhat bummed that no blood was going to be shed.

However, one thing was agreed on: The stone that Henry possesses would be most useful against Word Play. "So we're gonna get this stone before we search for Wordy? Well alright but isn't Henry searching for Wordy with the cloaked guy? Maybe we can meet up with him while we're searching for Word Play." Rielle suggested.

ELSEWHERE

Annabelle had arrived at the mansion the local Order sect were using as a headquarters. She waited for what seemed to be hours for something to happen but it seemed events eluded her. The cannibal finally had enough and stopped an Order operative. "Hey, where's Sir Booker?" She asked.
"He's nowhere to be found, ma'am." The operative answered.
"Well who's in charge then?" Annabelle asked another question.

"We have multiple candidates, including you Miss Annabelle." The operative began. "We're waiting for the higher ups to decide who will lead until Sir Booker reappears."
"Isn't there a way to speed up the selection?" An idea popped inside the cannibal's mind.
"Well if the majority of us wants someone to be leader, then I think that would make it easier for the higher ups to decide."
"I see." Annabelle smiled.

"I will take your offer into consideration for the time being. If it comes to that, I may take you on your offer. For now I would like for the both of you to remain on standby, in case you are still needed." After his response to Jonathan, the king disappears in a green light.

Lisia, still resting on the floor, quietly says something with what little strength she still has. "Father....forgive me."

Rue sees that Alexander rather piqued at the orders issued by His Majesty. "I understand your frustration at our orders, but right now the safety of the princess takes precedent."

The merc hears Rielle suggest they meet up with Henry, who was with the Cloaked Wanderer, as his stone will be an invaluable asset against Word Play. "That's the plan. I believe it's time we made our way to the other team. Fortunately while scouting for Word Play I found Henry's signature as well, they're at the Citadel. I'll go on ahead, I trust the both of you won't fall behind."

Ruecian then dissipates in a veil of azure light, making his way to the Luminous Citadel.

Several minutes after Brandon and Henry spoke to one another, the king's agent appears before Henry, the Cloaked One, and Brandon who was with them.

"The king has told me to issue an order to those involved with the investigation. Due to the well-being of Princess Lisianthus's life, you are to still track down Word Play but not engage him. He is using the princess's livelihood as leverage and there's no telling what he may do. I also suspect that Ms. Rielle's team is on their way here to meet with you, as Sir Henry's stone will be most valuable on this mission."

The official looks at Brandon, whom he recognizes, and his mechanical dog. "I assume you're here with your invention to help with the investigation? The officials have been informed of you invention's capabilities. However, they are still on the fence of whether or not a civilian is to be involved with this matter."

As the agent finished his message, a blue light began flashing were they were standing.

The vampire stares and blinks for a moment as she sees the wing the Ivadi suddenly pulled out. It was a large bright red feather, and apparently Ivadi means to use it to take them to his house in an instant.

"Eh? I've never seen such a item, does it really work? Knowing you, I'm sure it does something." Felicie then looks at the door before turning to Ivadi again. "Although, I'm not sure going would be such a good idea. Hana probably wants me to rest, and my mother may return in my absence. A lot has happened today."

Jonathan remain silent when the king left in a flash of green light. Dalia was about to go back to thinking about how to assist that boy from before until she heard the princess apologizing for her actions to her father when he already left. Feeling bad about her, Dalia decided to try to make her feel better.

"Hey, it's not your fault.", Dalia stated as she went over to the princess and sat next to her. "Everything was pretty much a coincidence. You did what you had to do. It's not your fault you have something that Word Play wanted. He's a sociopath. He'll do anything to kill some Orderites, though he tries to avoid hurting anyone else. What you did, confronting Word Play, was the right thing to do. He would've killed those Orderites if you haven't stopped him.", she continued to comfort the princess, "All that matters is that you tried to protect the peace in your kingdom.", Dalia tries to assure her.

Jonathan watch the display of concern of his sister, she should not get emotional with the princess. Emotions will only blurred out the objective and it'll become harder for him to complete the objectives that they were assigned to. He's going to have a word with his sister when he gets the chances. She must stay focus on the objective!

Knowing you, I'm sure it does something." she said as Ivadi chuckles "of course it works I use items like this whenever I need to travel to the other side of town for parts hunting." he said as she looked at the door before turning back again "Although, I'm not sure going would be such a good idea. Hana probably wants me to rest, and my mother may return in my absence. A lot has happened today." she said as Ivadi nods "I understand milady, that WAS pretty rough." he said nodding in understanding
