Henry and Alexander nodded when asked if they were ready, Henry then heard the wanderer speaking to Rielle qarning her about a possible trap wors play might have placed, he smirked "if he did I can disable it allowing us to corner him, should we end up having to fight anyway" he said chuckling a bit at the end.
"I agree with the wanderer, the sooner we get there the better our chances of gettinf him" Alexander said, as his hand soon fell out and turned to ash, Alex panicked for a bit before recovering said ash as his hand formed again, Henry raised and eyebrow and chuckled, "that normal?" He asked, this made alexander frown, "unfortunately yes...its a side effect of turning to ash for faster traveling, sometimes a part or two sudebdly turn to ash..." he said "a-anyway back on topic, I believe we are all ready, rue shall we go?" Alexander asked.

Ruecian and the others have agreed to move out though the Cloaked Wanderer warned Rielle that Word Play might have something against her since they have already encountered each other. "Please Cloaky, I didn't make it this far in life just by talking." The White Witch boasted. But then Henry said he could disable it, allowing them to corner the extremist. "Aww, that's sweet of you. We should go out some time." Rielle winked at Henry.

"So who here can port us to the warehouse?" Rielle asked everyone present. "Don't look at me, I don't know where that is."

Lisia was slightly abashed by Dalia rather friendly tone of words. "Is that so? Well, that's very reassuring then. The sooner that mad man is brought to justice the better."

The princess then listened to Jonathan's explain of Word Play's general back-story, and the duo's repeated encounters with the man. the well-dressed man then offered to divulge any information on the assailant that may be helpful to the situation. While Lisia truthfully wanted nothing to do with the man, she figured that knowing more about him may prove useful.

"Very well sir. If you have anymore information about this Word Play, then I am more than willing to listen."

Ruecian looked at Rielle for but a moment. His moment stare would've suggested nothing, but in reality he found it somewhat interesting that the White Witch couldn't teleport to a place if she did not have a clear image of it in mind. Rue then a nodded response to Alexander, after choosing not to bring up his ashed arm.

"Well, Brandon could show us the exact coordinates of Word Play's whereabouts and we could move from there. Unless perhaps the Cloaked One has a way to get us all there." Ruecian then turns to the Cloaked Wanderer, who he has been getting a strange feeling from for a while. The merc is curious of his abilities.

Felicie stopped sipping her tea for a moment and made a small huff. She looked out the window before turning back to Ivadi. "Yes, it is nice that she has much support from her peers, but does that really mean she's completely safe? You saw that masked man had the ability to make things happen through the power of words. Yes you found a loophole in his magic, but if no one is around to exploit that weakness it doesn't really help, does it? I shudder to think what that man is capable of if left alone for too long."

Felicie folded her arms as she stared down at her tea cup, now half-way full. "And though it pains me to say it, the only reason we survived that ordeal is because those warriors cam to our aid and forced that psycho to retreat. Ivadi, what do you think would've happened if those warriors hadn't come to our aid in time, hmm? Despite all our efforts, you were only able to wound him due to finding a hole in his technique. I'm pretty sure he won't make it as easy to do that in the future."

The vampire then sighs as she finally takes another sip of her tea. "Though, I suppose I'm just over thinking things. I'm sure the other warriors along with some police officials are hunting down that man. After all, no one can mess with nobles and royalty and then expect to get away scot-free." She then looks up at Ivadi. "Sorry if I ruined the mood."

Ivadi could only chuckle as he heard this, he was happy to know just how much she cares for her friend. and even for him when she apologized "no, you haven't ruined the mood, in fact I'm kinda glad you're telling me all this, showing me that you do care for your friends. it makes me even more honored to be your servant." he said smiling

he leaned back a little "though if you're THIS worried then there isnt much point to staying here for long right?"

"Very well, I shall do my best to explain some of Word Play's history to you.", Jonathan said to the princess. "Word Play became active about 15 years ago and began his killing spree in the Zipangu Region. I find it odd that he began there of all places due to it being a known monster-friendly territory. However, after encountering Word Play numerous times in the past, it's safe to say that he originates from the Zipangu Region from they way he prefers using kanji out of any other languages.", he stated. "The first recorded incident that involves Word Play was when he tracked down a small Orderite cell in a small village in the region. The cell themselves were not interesting at all and mainly try to persuade the human population to join the Order Party. They were not successful in their attempts, but it was enough that Word Play decided to target them. He proceeded to murder the entire Order cell and hung their bodies at the center of the village with a message written in their blood on their ground. The message was referencing to something, 'Words have power. You did not like the words we wrote. You try to suppress us. You have failed. All shall know the words that I will write. You know your crimes. I will disrupt the Order and erase them.', was what it said.", Jonathan continued, "After that incident, he began appearing in many other countries, kingdoms and nations to kill as much Orderites as possible. He is wanted by many governments due to his actions and was obviously convicted as a murderer of many innocent people. Though, before I continue, there was something you should know about his first murders.", he added before continuing, "When he killed those Orderites in the Zipangu Region, it happened on the same day that commemorates an event that had occurred 7 years before the incident.", he stated.

"There was a village that wasn't far from where the village Word Play had targeted. The village was known for writing poetry and songs that were known to be used by many political officials in the region to promote the Mamono Party. It was quite effective actually, but some parts of the Order Party were not pleased with what the village has made. Though, I am not insinuating anything from adding that small detail. One night, the village was burnt to the ground. No survivors were found and there were no suspects to be found. Many victims were burned beyond recognition and some were missing as well. It's possible that there were indeed survivors of the incident, but we could not find them.", Jonathan explained.

"It's also possible that Word Play may have been a survivor of that incident as well. Due to having his hate directed towards to the Order Party, many assumed that he is affiliated with the Mamono Party, which I can assure you that he is not.", Jonathan added, "Though, another interesting to know is that; after killing hundreds of lives, he has never been recorded to attack anyone on the month that commemorates the incident that may have triggered his hate on the Order. In fact, he actually made an effort to hide his tracks to the point that neither my sister and I were unable to find him until the next month began. At that time, he'll put less effort in trying to hide and continue his killing spree.", he finished.

Jonathan then turn to the princess, "That's all I know about his past. Everything else can be a theory until Word Play let something slip about himself.", he stated before walking over to the window and looking outside.

Lisia listened intently as Jonathan explained what he knew of Word Play's origins and past actions. Apparently, his roots can be traced back to the Zipangu region, which made Lisia think for a moment.

"So, it's possible he is fact from Zipangu? I wonder perhaps if the Arcana Mercenary knows anything about him. I suppose I can understand his hatred and drive if what you say is true. Though I'm not defending the man by any means. Still, to think he would come here. You'd think he'd attack a more Order-influenced kingdom. At any rate, I thank you for your information. I'm afraid that's all I can do at this point."

Lisia takes a moment to look around the throne room. She then begins speaking to Tibrus again. "Since the outside competitors are no longer here, I assume they're already tracking down Word Play?"

Felicie raises a brow at Ivadi's words, which made her stop her cup before it reached her lips.

"Ivadi, are you suggesting we go out into the middle of the night and check on Lisia? While that does sound nice, it's getting late and my mother may be home soon. Plus, I doubt we'd be allowed in the castle at this hour."

The vampire then crosses her arms and looks at the mage with curious eyes. "Or, are you suggesting that we actually assist in the downfall of that mad man?"

she then crosses her arms and looks at him "Or, are you suggesting that we actually assist in the downfall of that mad man?" she asked as Ivadi chuckles "well milady what we will do depends on what you want to do, it's just as you say, these words of mine are merely a suggestion, though no matter what decision you take, I shall gladly go along with it. Father once told me that sometimes if you want to ensure the safety of your loved ones, you should just go with your instincts and take the risk. Because they are worth it." he said wit a warm smile

"In a manner of speaking yes, once our location has been found first. I cannot get all of us to our needed location at one time, however. I can only take 2 others with me at once, quick or not. Instead of dawdling, we should be moving as we speak." With a hand he gestured that they follow him down the main road while using the other to guide Brandon along, until the boy would walk with him of course.

"We all know he is located South of here in a warehouse, but we know not of the warehouse unless we are led to it. The closer we are once we do know, the faster our reactions can be."

---Castle - Throne Room---

"While you may not be insinuating anything by such a detail lad, such a correlation provides a very valuable clue as to this man's motivations nonetheless." Turning to the princess he was about to speak when she asked about the search.

"You would be correct Princess. By now they should have all gathered together and would be in the midst of finding that man's exact location. All we can do is let time pass and see how this situation evolves." He then shook his head and let out a soft sigh.

"While you say you might understand his drive, very few can understand a hatred such as his. For some it can drive them mad, for others it becomes their world with no room for anything else. This man sounds somewhat of the latter but is able to keep some things separate in his life. Only so much can be said till be know more. The fact that he came here is of no surprise. It is of the simple fact that Order Elements are here that he came, nothing more. For your sake Princess, I hope you never have to feel a hatred as deep as his." His lips were a grim line, he knew what came of such hatred even if it were decades before that he bore witness to it.

Henry was starting to grow impatient as they still haven't moved out after word play, hearing The wanderer's statements made him raise his eyebrow, "We can't do anything without pinpointing it, lets hope Brandon's invention can pinpoint the exact location" he said with a sigh as Alexander was simply checking his book while they were still planning their move "So, any more ideas as to how we'll deal with word play?" he asked, "I know about splitting in two teams and we're not to engage, but what if he engages us?" he asked

Deciding that he has waited long enough, he began walking with the Cloaked Wanderer to find Word Play. Using his Information Catalog, Brandon was using it to lead him to his Aether Hound which should have found Word Play's location. Though, he listened to some of the words being said.

"Well, when we get there, we can send someone to tell the guards or king where we found Word Play. The rest should stay away from being too close to his location while still looking out for anything that he might do. That way we can plan on what else to do once you guys are told to capture him. If he notice us and attacks, try to preoccupy him long enough so that I can get a shot in. I might have something that might take him down without hurting him physically.", Brandon suggested. "Though, seeing that I'm a civilian, I'm pretty certain that the king won't like it if I get too involved than I should. At best, I can use some of my inventions to keep an eye on that masked bastard while you guys do whatever you need to do. Granted, I have the right to defend myself so it shouldn't be much of an issue.", he added as he lead the group to an abandoned warehouse in the southern district of the kingdom.

Nicholas walks in, looking like he has just gone through hell comes into the Throne Room, with two books in hand, he places them on a table, "Sorry to interrupt, but i was in the archives and i'v found almost nothing on "word play," iv found some information on it, but i can't understand some of it, i don't understand magic too well. There's probably more books but i just went through 250 of them and i do not want to see another god damned book today." he says as he sits down on a chair, looking as if he will pass out. "God damn, i go to sleep for a few hours and all of a sudden there's a crazed murderer? Mien Gott."

Lisia looks as a man who appears to a member of the Royal Library walks into the throne room. It wasn't hard to see his tired and irritated expression.

"Sir Heatherman, that man is a member of the Royal Archives, correct? I believe I'm seen him around on few occasions, perhaps you could be of help to him. Or better yet, Dalia and Jonathan could possibly be of assistance. Why not ask the man to explain what he found in detail?"

Main Road - Southern Trail

Ruecian saw the Cloaked Warrior's hand gesturing for him to follow. "Well, Ms. Rielle, I believe the Wanderer is ready to depart. Shall we follow?" The merc then follows the southern trail along with the rest of the team.

Rue listens to Brandon's spill about how to approach the situation when the assailant is found. "I personally doubt we'll have to tell the king, once we've found the king. I'm sure that agent will notify him of or status at that point, as that official doesn't seem to miss a thing. As for your involvement, I'm sure King Reinhardt won't mind it. Besides, we've already established that your help will be needed."

Ruecian then smirks at the young soon-to-be arms dealer. "You should be looking forward to this, you'll get your revenge on Word Play. And more importantly you'll save the princess and be the envy of all your classmates. Who knows, she may even grow to be smitten with you."

The merc then turns to Alexander. "If the assailant engages us first, we'll have to fend him off without hurting him profusely. Other than that, we'll have to improvise." He says as he responds to the Orderite's inquiry.

"Ivadi, you're quite the noble servant, aren't you? You know, I suppose we could simply go to the castle and see how Lisia is faring. We can't really fight that masked freak if we don't know where he is." Felicie takes her last sip of tea before placing it on the table in front of her.

"There's a high chance that we'll get in trouble if we're caught, Ivadi. Are you sure you want to sneak into the castle with me? Ah, but what does it matter? You're my servant, and therefore must follow my every word and call." With that, the vampire leaves her seat and heads toward the window, opening it as she reaches her destination. She holds out a hand as the moon shines in the night sky behind her.

"Well my servant, shall we go see our friend of high standing?"

"Ivadi, you're quite the noble servant, aren't you? You know, I suppose we could simply go to the castle and see how Lisia is faring. We can't really fight that masked freak if we don't know where he is." she said taking her sip of tea before setting it down

"There's a high chance that we'll get in trouble if we're caught, Ivadi. Are you sure you want to sneak into the castle with me? Ah, but what does it matter? You're my servant, and therefore must follow my every word and call." she said as she opened her window and offered her hand to his with the window behind her "Well my servant, shall we go see our friend of high standing?" she asked

Ivadi smiled warmly, he needed no convincing here since he was hoping for this as he took her hand "Milady, i'll follow you without question and listen to your orders to the letter, i'll follow you to the depths of hell and even the heights of heaven." he said with a firm conviction and a smile

With the destination determined, the Cloaked Wanderer led the investigation team toward Word Play's area. Rielle followed silently with the others and ad they conversed, the White Witch was lost in her thoughts. As they tread the main road, Rielle wondered how her cannibalistic friend was doing. The last time she saw Belle was when she intercepted Word Play in the shop. After that, she could only assume that Belle would be in the Order Headquarters. Since nothing else urgent came up as of late, she could also assume Belle did not do anything risky or stupid.

"Hrrrmmm... are we there yet?" Rielle impatiently asked before spotting a severely underdressed, heterochromatic Nekomata sporting black-and-red fur staring at her. She could swear she recognizes the monster girl but the late night and the encroaching fatigue prevented her from pinpointing the Nekomata's identity. "What'choo lookin' at?" Rielle stopped and asked.

MEANWHILE

"Really, Ji-chan. We should've busted him out and introduced him to a really cute Jinko I saw and sent them to somewhere else." Haruka said as she walked with Jiyi, disappointed that the accused student refused her, Jiyi and Assassin's help. The student introduced himself as Peter and told them that breaking him out will only make him look more guilty and that he wanted to stay in Zauberheim.
"Come on, Ruka." The Hinezumi sighed. "The boy was literally begging us not to break him out. Besides, he has good points." She defended Peter's position. However, she was equally disappointed since she did not get to have a duel with the dangerous-looking Assassin.
"I know that look, Ji-chan." The Nekomata smirked at Jiyi. "You're miffed 'cause that Assassin guy disappeared before you could challenge him!"

Jiyi blushed and opened her mouth to protest but found something better to say. "Well either way, he disappeared. I wonder where to."
"Dunno. Maybe he's gone to get help?" Haruka shrugged. "And he has a weird name too. 'Assassin', I know he can fight but he doesn't feel dangerous so why call himself that?" She added as they turned in a corner.
"I'm sure he has his reasons." The Hinezumi said before noticing her friend had stopped dead in her tracks. "Ruka?"

Little did Jiyi know that Haruka had found what she had been looking for all her life. There was no mistaking it. The Nekomata had burned the image of the culprit into her small, five-year-old mind. Haruka began shaking as she stared at the woman while her mind was in conflict on what to do. The White Witch caught her staring and asked. Her hands were beginning to move towards her katana as the flames of vengeance grew stronger.

"Ruka...?" She heard Jiyi's voice which caught her attention for one second. The Hinezumi noticed her friend's face had a look of anxiety and beads of sweat were visible. "Is there something wrong?"

Haruka blinked and recomposed herself. Attacking would be foolish for the White Witch seemed to have powerful-looking friends with her. "Ah... I'm okay Jiyi." She told her Hinezumi friend before turning to Rielle. "O-Oh, it's nothing. I just noticed how alluring your clothes are."
"Oh? Well thanks." Rielle replied before rejoining her group.

When the group was at a distance, Haruka eyes were upon them once more. "Ruka?"
"Jiyi! I'm really, really sorry but I have something that I need to take care of!" The Nekomata exploded at Jiyi. "I'll see you back in the inn, okay?" She continued before running off to an alley and leaving Jiyi to her own thoughts.

---On the way to the Warehouse---

Henry noticed Rielle staring at someone who was doing the same to her, that brought his attention as he stayed back watching Rielle and the hinezumi stare at each other, noticing the Hinezumi's magic rating growing as if she were to attack, he frowned a bit at the excuse the Hinezumi gave about her clothes before chuckoing a bit as Rielle came back to the group "Friend of yours?" he asked her
Meanwhile Alexander was walking with the wanderer and Ruecian, glancing at his book while they walked

----------------

While walking along the road, Ruecian notices Rielle stopping to look at what appears to be a nekomata girl. While it was dark, Rue could see that the young girl was holding a katana. She and the White Witch spoke for a moment before Rielle returned back to the team. Ruecian muttered to himself, "That girl, I'm almost sure that I've seen her before."

While the katana wielding mamono ran out of sight as the team walked off in the distance, Rue noticed she ran off into an alley. He had his guard up even more at that point. Hopefully the girl wouldn't cause problems for the investigation. "Ms. Rielle, it seemed like that girl knew you. I hope this won't lead to any future problems, as we're on the clock."

"Hmm.", Jonathan hummed as he thought about the princess's suggestion. He doesn't really care about learning more about Word Play's magic, but he needs to keep up with the facade. He'll go along with it until his objective is complete. "Very well, it may assist the investigation team.", he stated before turning his attention on Nicholas. "Sir, please elaborate as much as you can about word magic.", he asked.

Investigation Team

Brandon raised a brow at Ruecian's attempt to make him more excited about their current objective. "Do we live in a fairy tale book?", Brandon asked the mercenary. "If we are, then I hate the plot already.", he stated before continuing, "Granted, taking down that masked bastard makes me feel a lot better after earlier and I do feel that I owe the princess for help saving my life when the asshole hold me hostage. I could care less about being the envy of my classmates. I'm going to graduate soon so I won't be seeing many of my former colleagues. Lastly, the thought of the princess being smitten with me is not something happening anytime soon. We enrolled into the academy at the same time so I have some grasp on her personality. She probably have an interest in a knight or something. They're honorable, chivalrous and passionate in serving the crown. I doubt I'll have any of those traits in the future if I continue the path I'm following now.", he stated to the merc.

"That, and the whole 'nice guy' crap annoys the hell out of me. Just because I help save her, doesn't mean that she should just fall in love with me. That would be stupid and breed ignorance.", he added before the group encountered as few mamono. One of which seem to focus intensely on Rielle. "Wow, you must be popular.", he stated sarcastically at Rielle. "We should hurry, we're close by.", he stated as he continue forward to their destination.

After some time, they have reached the location of Brandon's invention. "We're here.", he stated as he stops in his tracks.

Abandoned Warehouse

Stopping in the middle of the street, Brandon's Aether Hound was sitting in front of them with its back turn against them. It was looking at an abandoned warehouse down the street. About 20 meters away from them to be precise. To those sensitive to magical energy, they will notice how dense the magical energy is gathering in the warehouse.

Walking over to his creation, Brandon pat it on its head. "Good boy.", he said to the machine. In response to his praise, the mechanical dog barked happily and wags it artificial tail.

Turning his attention to the investigation team, he pulled out his Information Catalog and entered several commands into it. His Arsenal Recall is activated and two flash of yellow light appeared and produced two items from his warehouse. One of the items is a headgear that resembles a visor, though the visor is bigger than the strap and is a circle. This item is called Oracle Eye, an item with the sole purpose of enhancing vision and allowing the user to see multiple spectrums as well of other ocular abilities such as optic blasts. It is also capable of combining multiple spectrums to achieve maximum effectiveness.

The other item is a box that is 0.5 by 0.5 by 0.5 meters in size that contains many small items in it. The items are small and appears to be earpieces. The items are called No Evil which is referring to the three evils in some myths. The items links up and synchronize the users' vision and hearing while also allowing the users to distinguish between their vision and hearing from each other. The item is perfect for coordinating teamwork and to counter blind spots, though it require more than one to do so. (Think of the sense linking being similar to Pein's vision from the Naruto franchise)

"Alright, these will help with keeping an eye on Word Play. Hopefully, he won't know that we're here and try to attack us.", Brandon said to the team. He began handing out the earpieces to the current members. "These earpieces are capable of linking up our vision and hearing while also letting you to be able to distinguish between each others. They're perfect for coordinating and can counter blind spots, though it require more than one user. Also, I should warn you that once you activate it, it'll 'tingle' for a bit as it links up your senses.", he stated as he hands them out to the team. After he had done so, he return the box back to his warehouse. "Are you all ready?", he asked after equipping his two items.

"Friend of yours?"

...Henry asked when Rielle rejoined the group.

"Well technically I have a lot of... 'friends' so maybe." The White Witch replied.

"Ms. Rielle, it seemed like that girl knew you. I hope this won't lead to any future problems, as we're on the clock."

...Ruecian was the next to ask.

"Well I can't promise you anything, Arcana man but I'm fairly sure we'd be done with this when she stirs up trouble. If she stirs up trouble." Rielle assured.

"Wow, you must be popular."

...Brandon did not ask but sarcastically remarked.

"Yeah. You could say that." Rielle replied, knowing her infamy throughout the years. "Say, I like you gadget boy. You're serious and you don't want to deal with crap from other people." She added. "You should work for the Order. Sure there are some... noisy folks there but I know a few people who'll give you gold for your troubles and nothing else. Much gold."

Soon the team reached what seemed to be an abandoned warehouse. They were some distance away from the structure when Brandon had something for the investigators. The student produced various gadgets, some were earpieces which would share the users' senses which was then given to all of the investigators.

"Yeah, no." Rielle tossed back her earpiece at Brandon. "As much as I like you gadget boy, I don't want other people seeing what I'm seeing and I also don't want to see what other people are seeing." She said. "I'm ready if you're wondering. A little sleepy but ready."

---Throne Room---

"Why don't you read it yourself? I'm not into magic, all i know is its powerful and apparently hard to master." Nicholas said as he relaxed on the chair, barely awake. "I have a very small amount of information on the events going down today, although i do find it strange he would attack before the tournament, as if something is bugging him, a pest that he wants to remove if you will, but i know not of why it is annoying him, some personal grudge?" Nicholas was confused at his motives, but had no energy to think, he was exhausted.

---Abandoned warehouse---

Henry held the headpiece Brandon gave him in his hand, slightly concerned about the 'tingle' he put it anyway, he was soon striked with a stinging pain for a second as it synchronized to his senses, he had flinched by the sting but had already recovered "didn't tingle for me, it stung..." he said sighing right after as Alexander was still in doubt of using said piece, holding it in his hand as he stared at it with a concerned look "uuuh...no thanks, my reasons are the same as Rielle's, I do not wish people seeing what I see, I like my own space..." he said as Henry slowly approached the door, his DN stone started glowing, showing a possible trap on the door "Alright..." he said to himself as he held the stone in his hands, and in a bright flash of emerals green light, the spike was gone, possibly disabling or making it vanish entirely, either way the magic spike was gone, and any nearby magic would be weakened as well, his stone instead of green was now grey in color, showing that it ran out of power "If we're going in this is the best time" he said to them "there was probably a trap on the door, if there was its disabled, either way any other trap he has made should be temporarily disabled" he said
