Re: Project X Zone 2
Alright, while I am excited to know about this, I'm a little wary. I've actually been playing the original ProjectXZone for awhile now, and the gameplay just isn't stimulating enough to be consistently good for the 25 hours I've put in so far. Why am I still playing? I dunno, it's a nice time waster while I'm on break at work. That's not the right reason to be playing it. And the story sucks. Terribly. I mean, really bad.
What I like about Project X Zone is the music, the graphics, and just the concept. If the sequel can make the dull gameplay more interesting and perhaps add more characters that I know people want "Sonic and Klonoa for example", then I'm sure it will be worth checking out. If nothing is changed, then I'm afraid I'll have to pass.

I couldn't get into the series because I hardly know any of the characters.

Re: Project X Zone 2
I have the first project X zone and still haven't finished it. While it's not a bad game, it's not too good either. So for now, I'll wait for reviews before buying the second one

The Demos for the first one weren't bad, but I didn't see myself paying for the game. We'll see if anything changes for this one.

There's one other big thing I forgot to mention about the first game. Seeing all the funny interactions between characters both pre, and post battle. Like Arthur and Lei Lei commenting on the things that they throw.

Never heard of this before, but if they happen to add any of Capcom's Epic Trio, then I'm in. Or, if by some greater miracle, they happen to add any Breath of FIre character that I consider worthy, I'll get this even if it costs me an arm and a leg...

She'd be great, although I'd prefer Katt/Rinpoo as usual, hehehe.Feathers wrote:Nina?

This series started with the game Namco x Capcom then Sega got into it for Project X Zone. I was shocked when Sanger Zonvolt showed up since he pilots mechs.

Re: Project X Zone 2
You know what else is weird about Sanger? In the first stage with Kaguya Nanbu and him, Kaguya activates the spirit in his sword to make it more powerful and change its appearance. But then in every stage after that one for the rest of the game, the sword is back to normal and we never see the improved version again.Jinouga87 wrote:This series started with the game Namco x Capcom then Sega got into it for Project X Zone. I mean, I've been playing for 25 hours, so I'm pretty sure it's not gonna be shown again. Seems kinda weird.

My guess is that he can change the sword's form for storage.

They're already in the first Project X zone, the zombie girl is partner with none other than Frank friggin west from Dead rising, and Morrigan is partner with CHUN-LI!.Blake81 wrote:Never heard of this before, but if they happen to add any of Capcom's Epic Trio, then I'm in. as for Felicia...haven't seen her in the first one.

Sadly Felicia wasn't in Project X Zone. She was in Namco x Capcom and paired with a guy from Tekken that had a cat mask. Felicia always thought the mask was his real face despite him telling her it was a mask.

I think Pac-Man might be licensed to Nintendo now. Not sure.lv27_robothero wrote:I am excited as I loved the first one and the Endless Frontier Games. Can't to see who else gets into the game, hopefully Sonic and Pac Man show up.
There were no anthropomorphic characters in the original Project X Zone for some reason. I assume for animating limitations or simplicity. So yeah, I'd love if that was changed.
