Oh yeah I'm definitely up for this game, 3rd game (except new vegas) was addictive and I suppose this one may bring back that gritty survival vibe.

I have both 3 and New Vegas, so I personally like the both of them.Pierce wrote:Oh yeah I'm definitely up for this game, 3rd game (except new vegas) was addictive and I suppose this one may bring back that gritty survival vibe.
Also, for anyone who might have an issue discerning the location, Fallout 4 is gonna take place in Boston.

Ahem-SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
This... this is just too cool to be put on words... I just had one epic nerdgasm...
There are, however, some things I am wondering. First of all, I saw some obelisk-esque thing around 1:37. Does this mean we're back to The Capital Wasteland? Or is there another thing like that somewhere else in the States? Also, does anyone recognizes that statue of the man in the horse at 1:57? I simply wanna know where it will be taking place...
Rumors which have been whispering around the net for a while now was that it was going to take place on NYC (on all it's Big Applesauce glory) or in Boston, centering around the MIT. Wonder which one was.
Also, what's with all those cool airships? The one that looked like a pirate ship got my Steampunk rocks going as well. Seriously, there are so many questions...
All that aside, I hope Obsidian is helping them with the script again; what made FNV much better than FO3 for me was their epic writing and shitton of choices.
Btw, was I the only one who noticed that there's no ''Coming out on X Date'' at the video? Could it be that Bethesda is didn't set a deadline!?
I'd better start digging my own vault if that's the case as the end of the world might be near....

You seem excited. Like I said, it'll be in Boston. There's a part where you can see a street sign for a street in the Boston town square and that statue is Paul Revere.

Re: [Multiplatform] Fallout 4
I wonder what enemies there'll be. You can briefly see a Deathclaw in one scene, but what other mutant monstrosities will we have the opportunity to gun down?
Maybe mutant raccoons or something similar!

Can't wait to play this game. I loved FO3, much more than Elder Scrolls.

Why? Because instead of hacking and slashing or magicking your enemies down, you go, "eat miniature thermonuclear warhead, bitches!"?Feathers wrote:Can't wait to play this game. I loved FO3, much more than Elder Scrolls.
I just want mechanics from FO: NV like the health and armour system, but the environment of FO3.
To find him, you must forget the stories...
Forget the legends...
You have to do more than walk in his footsteps...
For he is more than the sum of his actions...
I tell you this, not because I trust you...
But because all our lives are at stake...
Because the seeds of our future... are sown in his past...

Men do, through the roads they walk.
Men born by pain and anguish find compassion; by compassion find pain and anguish
The roads we walk must be walked upon, so our legends and history will not go untold.
May we find tomorrow is as bright as we dream, and our past forgotten about ebony roads.
Re: [Multiplatform] Fallout 4
I like how the Vault 111 jump suit is basically based off the suit tight vault suit from Fallout 1.
And I wonder if NCR is gonna be in the game or not, as I love to be Wasteland cowboy like in New Vegas.

Considering it'll be in Boston... I doubt it.

Re: [Multiplatform] Fallout 4
To me, the most important thing in this game would be if Obsidian is doing the writing again. Because IMHO, that epic storytelling of theirs was the reason I enjoyed FNV much more than FO3.

Re: [Multiplatform] Fallout 4
I got bored with Vegas half way in. I loved the whole "you are you" setting in FO3 and the overall settings a whole lot more. The quests were amazing as well. Vegas quests never felt as "epic" form me though. Oh, and my Krystal Fox companion mod didn't work in Vegas and I missed her.
Re: [Multiplatform] Fallout 4
Fallout 3's quest are okayish, upon the ending, the ending ruin it. Asked the mutant to fix the water machine and he was like "It is your fate, you have to die to save wasteland", uhh no, I don't need to die and mutant can survive high radiation but he refused cause it's my fate.(Of course that was fixed by DLC)
And then the goddamn Metro system
Also, Rumour said it is Prequel of Fallout 1 so there won't be NCR appearing.

Hell yeah, like you can do so much stuff like even killing Ceasar make it worth it lol.Blake81 wrote:To me, the most important thing in this game would be if Obsidian is doing the writing again. Because IMHO, that epic storytelling of theirs was the reason I enjoyed FNV much more than FO3.

Re: [Multiplatform] Fallout 4
The DLC fixed the ending by the way, the character is brought back to life. I just found that out, but I never had a chance to play them.

Guys, take a look at this!

E3's big reveal!
Behold and nerdgasm.
My only concern right now is if my poor old rustbucket of a PC will be able to run those epic-looking graphics.
