Should my eyes fail me, I will still see thee. Should my ears fail me, I will still hear thee. Should I lose my legs, I will still walk to thee. Should my voice depart, I will sing of thy. Should my arms break apart, I will hold thee with my very heart. Should my heart cease to pound, I will sing of thy with my soul. Should my soul be broken, then I shall... Embrace thee... With my blood...

You guys, you can post your friend codes on the actual thread we're suppose to put them, but whatever, I'll moves those posts later. For now, my code is 3093-7075-0635. Mii's name is AJ.

As Sai mentioned, I'm the most experienced of the three of them. I'm flexible for all weapons, but I lack Gunner armor variety so I'll be a blademaster for the most part, I play the aggressive role so I'll tend to lead charge.

Helios and Oersted, if I am to hunt with you guys, it would make the hunts easier if we could use skpe to communicate. We dont have to use chat, just type if you guys prefer at first

Well, I don't have skipe on my comp, not even sure if it would work properly either. But I'll agree that using at least "something" to communicate would be good. I don't usually have trouble talking with folks I hunt with due to us using MGR's chatroom.

I'm curious to see your favorite Monster Hunter weapons.

For nostalgia's sake, these two are old favorites from play the original on PS2.

----

Ravager Blade (I remember first getting this sexy sword and thinking "My life is complete now")
Image

Poison Battleaxe (great for when I was afraid of a certain monster so I could play defensively after poisoning it)
Image

And my current favorite from MH4 is...

Guardsqual (This charge blade is a sexy beast. Unfortunately it has negative affinity which gives it a chance to do less damage on hit. I think I've countered that by using ice attack decorations to increase the ice damage, which isn't affected by affinity.)

Well, there's many weapons that I really like, but a few stand out to me, for example I love the design of most Teostra weapons, although my favorite of them all is this:
Image
The Teostra Blade, it looks super awesome and has massive Blast element on it, I'm not using mine much at the moment due to my Exemplar Blade being much stronger than it(as it is a G-Rank weapon), but I'll probably start using it once I upgrade it into the King Teostra Blade.

I've put 60 hours into the game and it says I'm only 14% complete.

Now that's content.

Only 60 huh? Lol just kidding.

I've been playing this game about 1/3rd the amount of time I played MH3U, Around 500+ hours. MH3U was over 1500+ hours

That's a legendary amount of hours for a handheld game.

Over a dozen games in the series and that Cephadrome is still an enormous cunt.

Gypceros, though, have a unique advantage to them: You can carve them like 7 times in a fight if you nudge them a bit once they start limping (that fake death maneuver allows you to carve twice before it strikes).

If you're willing to lose some HP to gain extra parts, you can make the Gypceros gear really easily because of this. The poison immunity in the armor is a great trait, if you can get past the lack-luster defense. Also, they are near-powerless if you're immune to poison, so once you make the armor grinding for Hides and such is a walk in the park!

Cephadrome is a cunt. I think there is consensus on that.

While this is true I'd reccomend against carving Gypceros when it is faking death as that wake-up attack deals insane damage in high rank and G-rank. Seriously, the high rank gathering hall one took off almost half of my 150 health while I was wearing G-Rank armor, had I been wearing a high or low rank armor that could have been a OHKO.

In other news I fought the caravan Crimson Fatalis for the first time yesterday! It wasn't super tough given my G-Rank gear but it sure was tanky.

Also, after much farming I finally made my Artian X gunner set, unfortunately I don't really have a decent LBG yet, currently have Wolf Do, Rasasa Bowgun and God's Island, all of these are pretty good in high rank but I really need to upgrade them to do much in G-Rank, God's Island takes a Gravios Pallium to upgrade though so that's gonna be a pain. And another LBG I'm thinking about making is the Ash Kecha one, Precision Pusca, it rapids Fire S, Water S, Slicing and Pellet 1, so any thoughts on that?

Sorry dude, a lot of that is all Greek to me.

To Pokemonaces and Saiake, that fight was legendary! When we got to the last phase and that classic Monster Hunter music started playing, I couldn't help but get pumped as shit. That was amazing. Thanks a lot for the help.

I'm messaging you both my skype.
