Re: Raet's WIPs - Minotauride new adjustments + underpaint
Very nicely done, she looks a lot more balanced right now, and the heart shaped chain links on her axe are a very nice touch. The detail on the ball is also pretty darn good.^^ (i don't even want to think about how much all that bling is worth )
The slight purple heue on the muscle shading works quite well, it gives it a slightly more "fleshy" look.
All in all she's coming along nicely. Any idea what coulor you're going to give her horns/hooves?

Re: Raet's WIPs - Minotauride new adjustments + underpaint
I think she will have brown hooves and horns, maybe with an orange tint, unless anyone has a better idea Also, kicking myself now for removing the ball again, I should have just made it smaller.
Also here is the banshee, she already has a profile and is the direct competition of the valkyrie.

Re: Raet's WIPs - banshee added with updates (hair)
LakeDancer update: most base colours and some shading (Skin) has been completed, I still have to decide on her hair colour Subliminal suggested silvery hair(maybe even silvery blue would work) with a golden tone in places... What do you think? Also that purple is her underpainting layer.

Re: Raet's WIPs - Lake Dancer big update, comments pls
I think silver hair a safe pick or any thing similar. Not sure about the golden tone. I think it could work, but I have not seem it much. So I'm unsure how the results could be. This is just my 2 cents on the matter.

I think a silvery-blue would work nicely, it would add more to her figureskating theme. As for the golden tones, if done lightly it can look quite good i think, it would match well with the floral pattern on her dress.
And i just noticed this now, but the way she puts her right hand around her leg is quite alluring somehow.

Re: Raet's WIPs - Lake Dancer big update, comments pls
Thanks, I have a question, which under painting tone does everyone prefer? I have two versions:
This one is purple, the same as the minotauride
This one on the other hand is a vibrant teal
Which one do you people like the best and why?

Re: Raet's WIPs - Lake Dancer, purple or teal? comments pls
Personally i'd have to go with purple, it brings out a bit more depth if you ask me.
To me the vibrant teal makes her look a little pale, as if she's not feeling well.

I like how this has turned out, I erased the teal section from her skin, but included it in her chitin.
I really like the effect. What do you think?

Minotauride is almost complete, all I have left to do with her is the bronze jewellery, her horns and hooves.

Hmm, bronze huh? Sounds interesting. The brushed steel effect on the axe looks pretty sharp (lol), and the slight purple hueue in the shading works well with the other colours.Raet wrote:Minotauride is almost complete, all I have left to do with her is the bronze jewellery, her horns and hooves.

Re: Raet's WIPs - Zenko, rough sketch WIP
This is a Zenko, I am still working on the design of her, but these will be your good foxgirls who while hailing from Zipangu are more well travelled than the norm. In fact you may find them on other continents and in other countries too. She is holding her tama, a special crystal ball which acts as a focus for her abilities.

Re: Raet's WIPs - Zenko, rough sketch WIP
Minotauride is almost finished, I just need to complete the shading of her axe and horns as well as the bronze ball. I also want to improve those sausage fingers of hers.

Re: Raet's WIPs - Minotauride almost complete more updates
Here is lamia's most recent lineart, Clip Studio Paint is making things so much easier now, the lines come out really nicely and being able to freely rotate the canvas without messing up the lines makes hard to draw angles much simpler. I have adjusted her pose to be much more alluring which is what I originally intended.

Hmm, nice. That curvy tail really adds to her appeal, yes.^^

Re: Raet's WIPs - Lamia lineart in progress
Thanks, that curvy tail is possible because now I am capable of rotating the canvas. It makes hard to draw curves much easier... If you have the cash you should think of getting Clip Studio Paint, I don't know if it is still special, but there was a four day 60% off special last week. By the way, this is the latest

Re: Raet's WIPs - Lamia lineart in progress
A couple of quick things I notice. The coils and tailtip seem a bit off to me. I'm kind of seeing it as upright portion => Outer coil => Inner coil... then the tailtip just seems to come out of nowhere, plus it seems a little thin at the bottom of it.

Re: Raet's WIPs - Lamia lineart in progress
Thank you for the comment, I will see what I can do about it. I actually adapted the coils from the original 3D model I madeFlare wrote:A couple of quick things I notice. So there may be a flaw with it that I need to adjust.

Ah, I see where it was. It's missing the part that went over the coil.Raet wrote: Thank you for the comment, I will see what I can do about it. I actually adapted the coils from the original 3D model I made

Re: Raet's WIPs - Lamia lineart in progress
Well it's kinda there. It's more behind the tip than anything, so it's less visible than in the 3D model. May want to adjust that.
