今回の更新は妖精の女王「ティターニア」
This time's update is the fairy queen, “Titania.”

妖精達の女王兼お姉さんであり、一見すると大人びた様子ですが、やっぱり頭の中は”妖精レベル”なんだとか
They're the queens and big sisters of the fairies, and at a glance, they look like adults, but as expected, their minds are “fairy level”.

MG wednesday, and today's newcomer is shakespear's queen of the fairies.
(despite lore, this is a species so there are more then one.)

So the queen of Fairies is a species herself too huh....interesting or are they just high tier fae creatures

I guess (or at the very least hope) that the addition of the fairy queen herself will trigger an expansion on the fairy kingdom itself.

Design-wise she's nice (although I gotta admit that I prefer Atlus' rendition over this one) and doesn't surprise me to see her being human sized (although I would also like the concept of her being fairy sized (albeit as developed as she is) and being able change sizes from fairy to human and vice-versa (like the Pixie is able to do)).

I kind of curious to see how this one will turn out personality wise.

Maybe they're the Lili's equivalent of the fairy kingdom and Titanias (how odd sounds to use that name in plural x_X) are the scions of the original fae queen...
...or maybe Kenkou did like he did back then with the Medusa profile...¬¬

My my, the SMT is strong in this one. Not to mention that KK got the first three leters of her name drawn perfectly.

Definately not what i had in mind when reading the name, but quite lovely anyway.^^
(the name Titania always reminds me of Erza Scarlet, who is quite different from this lady.)
Also nice to get a good idea of how big general faries are, wasn't too sure untill now.

Another leader type mamono. Seems like maybe formal leaders of monsters are powerful enough to become their own species with monster mana infused with them. We got Pharaohs, Queen Slimes, Chaos Monsters of the deep sea, and Lilims (the Demon Lord herself was an ordinary powerful succubus if I remember correct)

Actually, that part might be more canon than you imagine.

Shakespeare's Titania was almost always portrayed as a well-endowed (and often plump) woman, which reflects that age's conception of how a ''good woman'' would look; big breasts meant more milk, and more milk meant better fed and more healthy children. While plump women were believed to have a much easier time giving birth than skinny ones.

So, modern media have translated that to a busty and wide-hipped woman, which can still be seen as beautiful by the men of today.

...but oh well... her design looks fine even without them.

It's a shame that Leanan Sidhes got left out and didn't get an art revamp though (they're my favorite fairies so far and one my favorite entries, so I would've liked to see them get a bit more of official love and recognition). x_X

Interesting... "Succubus Family (Formerly Fairy Family)" Considering that the basic Fairy is still considered the Fairy family, though succubus type... is that a progression of something?

Fairies have been regarded as "succubi" since.. always, it was way later that was added the formerly/originally fairy family in brackets besides her current family.

As much as I love big sister archetypes... I was expecting something different, like they behaving more refined, dignified and elegantly (like the queens they're meant to be).
Besides other than with her subordinates (and in bedroom) she doesn't seem to be that sisterly, she's much of a spoiled princess type character (to the point of making me wonder who's actually doting on who in a marriage with one of them).

Nevertheless she's kind of nice I guess, design wise she's pleasant looking and while she was not what I expected of her is not that bad.

Looks like it nailed it there... Just same case as Medusae, he just choose a prominent member's name for referring to a whole species and called it a day.
Oh well... at least Titania sounds better than High Fairy or Fairy Queen...

I kinda got the impression she acts big sister with her husband always and the childish personality is for everyone else.

She might act childly spoiled with her husband but I think only when she is being ignored or during a fight.

I am the living example of this, I am kinda like big bro/surrogate father to my niece. But when she is rude to me or cold, you have no idea how childish I can be.

Just my interpretation.
