Hmm okay, I have no idea who this Kojima person is, but NO MORE Kickstarters for me. Unless it was a Legend of Mana 2 game, then maybe..haha.

Hideo Kojima was to Konami what Shigeru Miyamoto is to Nintendo; the sole pillar holding the company afloat. He's also considered one of the fathers of MGS and Silent Hill.

So, whatever project he'll take to Kickstarter now, you can bet your buttocks the whole internet and half will thrown their wallets at it.

That said, I wonder what will the Mighty Jimquisitor say about this, as I'm sure that the moment he learned of it, he jumped so much in joy that an earthquake alarm sounded in some parts of England....

Strangely, I've never played MGS or Silent Hill games. Well, I tried for about 15 mins but they very boring for me. Much more enjoyed DOOM and Thief.

Well, my knowledge of Hideo Kojima is *he created the Metal gear solid series* and...that's about it, so if Feathers never played it, I can understand why he wouldn't know much about him

Regarding kickstarters, I'm a little leery about funding one. What happens if I fund a kickstarter and the game doesn't happen?

Yeah, but castlevania is more often related to his colleague, Koji Igarashi (A.K.A. IGA-sensei), whose Kickstarter for a new game I proudly funded, hehe.

What happens if I fund a kickstarter and the game doesn't happen?

You mean if you pledge your money and the game doesn't get fully funded? Well, you get your money back in that case. In fact, your money doesn't leave your wallet until the game's fully funded.

I see thats as more of a fault from activision and deadlines.

also the writers leaving months before the games launch. Leaving the story cracked and hollow.
