I'll let this guy explain what exactly the game is. If you took touhou, replaced the characters with 8-bit sprites, and put the gameplay on an overhead, rotating plane, you would have RotMG.
Anybody can play. RAM and graphics requirements are basically non-existent. It's not much of a social game without having a guild, but I'm working on starting one. So if you get in, keep an eye out for Leinheart.
