General Forum Rules (Updated 4/4/17)

The following are the general rules which apply to all of the sections of this website. This includes: Forums, Blogs, Galleries, PMs and even signatures. Read them upon registration as not knowing them is hardly an excuse for breaking them. Please report all users/posts that are in violation of these rules.

RULE ONE

This IS an adult oriented site and you must be at least 18 years of age to browse our site. You HAVE been informed of this when you were signing up. If you claim to be, or admit to being less then 18 years of age, we are required by law to remove you from our site.

Addenum by Pierce: When making an account, use appropriate usernames. We do not tolerate usernames that have slurs or are deemed offensive. Your account may be terminated if it's deemed inappropriate.

RULE TWO

Do not spam via posting the same message multiple times in multiple threads. Try not to double post by editing your previous post instead if no one else commented after you. Do not Advertise without prior Admin approval.

RULE THREE

Trolling, abuse and/or harassment of other users or website content will not be tolerated. Do not "bait" other users into breaking this rule either.

RULE FOUR

No Discrimination is permitted on any parts of our forum in regard to race, gender, sexual orientation, nation of origin, etc.

RULE FIVE

No Politics/Religion/Anti-Religion. We do not allow discussions of real life politics/religion/anti-religion anywhere on our forums.

RULE SIX

If you find yourself being harassed or insulted by another member, do not respond to them as you might break a rule yourself in the process. Instead contact a member of the staff immediately and have them get rid of the offender. The same applies if you see someone else getting attacked. In order for us to deal with offenders effectively, it is recommended to take a screen shot of their message as some offenders tend to modify their posts later before they are caught which makes proving things difficult sometimes.

RULE SEVEN

Please listen to what our staff tell you. They are identified by a user-name colored Red, Gold, Green or Blue. You are allowed to re-confirm with another member of the staff the instructions given to you if you believe one or more members of our staff is/are being unfair.

RULE EIGHT

Do not use our site for activities deemed illegal. This includes, but is not limited to: Piracy, Fraud, Impersonation, Crime Organisation, Hacking, Trafficking, etc. This is a "no strikes" rule. If found guilty of breaking this rule, you will be removed from the forum. We also reserve the right to pass on all the relevant information to the proper authorities.

RULE NINE

Do not post pirated or copyrighted material on our forum. This includes posting links to such material located offsite, links to torrents, or even discussions of how to pirate something.

Amendment #1, 09/06/12: Do not post MGE text translations (or profiles that contain these text translations) from other sources unless you have the translator's explicit permission to do so.

RULE TEN

Do not organize "raids" or "trips" anywhere on the Internet (other sites, chatrooms, threads or blogs on TMM, etc.) to cause havoc, gang bashing, etc. If we find you raiding anything, you will instantly get a ban that can last anywhere from a 1 day ban to a permanent ban and deletion of your account and all of your posts, depending on the "severity" of your offense.

RULE ELEVEN

Do not roleplay outside the roleplay section. This does not apply if you yourself have a "personality" of an evil overlord, arrogant princess, harpy king, etc. e.g: posting things like "I will take my Succubus waifu to my flying fortress of doom for a romantic dinner" is still acceptable, but still should not stretch over one or two posts.

RULE TWELVE

Private messages are PRIVATE for a reason. Unless you have the permission of the person you were talking to, you are not permitted to post them publicly. The only exception to this rule is showing a private message to a member of the staff as evidence of someone who is breaking the rules in private messages.

RULE THIRTEEN

Try not to make off-topic posts in threads. Off-topic posts may be deleted as they disrupt the flow of the discussions for everyone else.

RULE FOURTEEN

Do not post any of the following in any shape or form:

- Guro
- Vore (unless otherwise specified)
- Scat
- Urination
- Heavy male on female rape
- Bestiality
- Child Pornography
- Yaoi (unless otherwise specified)
- Cannibalism

The list is subject to change. Yaoi and Vore MAY be permitted in only some sections of the forum. Anything "futa" related should be spoilered.

RULE FIFTEEN

Don't post Misanthropic comments such as "all humans must die", don't play a doom sayer, it pisses people off and sours the mood for most. Keep these opinions to yourselves. We will delete such comments, continuing to post such comments will likely lead you to being labeled as a troll and appropriate disciplinary action will be taken.

RULE SIXTEEN

Don't use the following dialect on this forum:

>Implying that ... etc
>Implying this ... etc

IMPORTANT NOTES:

The above rules can change without warning (but most likely an announcement will be made regarding it).
Most rules work by a three strike system:

1st offense = warning
2nd offense = temporary ban (1 to 30 days depending on severity of offense)
3rd offense = permanent ban

In some cases a user may be banned permanently without a warning and their account and all their posts deleted, this will only happen in very severe cases. Other than that, please act tactful and polite while posting and don't act like a prick to others, you are all mature adults here and the days of fighting for a bucket in the playground sandbox should be well behind you by now ^__^
